This is a lovely town with resort attached and you can get the train from Lisbon. Could not add the trip to my Via Viagem card as 5E only does the city area but it was not a lot more and well worth the effort. The station is right in the centre of the town and the shops bars and... More

Unfortunately it has become a high end residential site for Lisbon commuters. The much vaunted train journey is over rated as most of the ocean views are blocked by villas. More

Anyone staying in Lisbon would be well advised to hop on the train for the 20-minute ride to this picturesque beach town west of the city, right on the Atlantic Ocean. lovely little seaside town. A small sandy cove where we spent a few hours then walked around the ususal tourist shops. Has an exclusive up market feel to it, with a pretty yaught marina. More

Take the train out to Cascais, walk in the nice little town, and along the promenade from Cascais to Estoril along the sea. Nice to watch the sea and the life of people. More
