More modern architectural nothing worth other than the design. If you are not a architect it may not be interesting for you.

The upper level of the station with the arched meralwork is a joy, but the lower levels in stark concrete are draughty and gloomy and barely brightened by the shops and kiosks

This is one of Lisbon's important railway stations connecting various parts of Lisbon and the country itself. The architecture on the outside is stylish and modern. The station is well equipped and planned very well. It has so many lifts to accomodate the daily passenger traffic. The station is integrated with metro services as well. This is just opposite to... I didn’t take a train there but whenever I pass by I always think it is too beautiful to be “only” a train station. The architecture of the building is so different and so nice that you should see it for yourself. You can take the metro to go there, then get outside and appreciate it. But don’t go only... More

If you are into architecture, you MUST visit this place. Santiago Calatrava was surely inspired when he designed this place. You don't have to ride the trains if you don't feel like it, but simply being there and seeing the place is amazing. Definitely worth some picture moments.

There is lots of shops, restaurants, cinema and perfect location. You can reach it easily by metro. And many sightseeing objects are near.

I am surprised that the Estacao do Oriente rates as an attraction (other than being a busy transport hub) but the architecture is impressive. However, below the elevated rail section is an unwelcoming and dark concrete jungle with a few food outlets. I would suggest that it rates very good based only on the architecture of the top level.

This is a lovely (yet very hectic) train and metro station, just next to the old Expo site and the Vasco da Gama mall. Its design is absolutely lovely, and while its a bit difficult to appreciate it from within the station, once you get out and look back at the station - its beauty is revealed. Mind your belongings,... More

Beautiful station, but very difficult for an overseas visitor to use! I travelled to the station by bus - but had to guess when we had arrived! I was catching a train to Coimbra, and found it difficult to work out where the main station actually was. Having found the station I was disconcerted to realise that there was no... More

Very nice and modern railway station. The architecture is very special and just right for a country that wants to stand up and start bettr times.
