While going over the bridge you have this fantastic panoramic view of Lisbon. You can see a few landmarks in the distance if you have a tour guide that points it out to you. It was a really sunny day and the drive over the long bridge was really refreshing! more
You can get a GREAT view of the bridge, as well as the rest of the Lisbon area from the base of the Christ (Cristo Rei) monument across the river (free), and an even greater view of the area from the top of the monument (5 euros). more
