One of the best museums you can visit. The architectural design of the building and the layout of the exhibitions are excellent. There are quality works in many disciplines;statuary, painting, furniture, tapestries and old world crafts. The entry fee is nominal and a lovely garden restaurant downstairs makes this a wonderful experience.

It's not a place that's really connected to Portugal, but you'll see a fantastic collection of art and different historic items. And the entrance is free.
