The activities in the Gulbenkian agenda are at the highest standards and certainly have an international focus in each field, from music to science, from traditional to contemporary forms of fine art and performative arts. In my opinion, a must see (more than once!)

Excellent exhibition about the Discoveries, new medicines brought to Europe. New drugs known, new books written, specimens preserved.

I attended several international conferences and they were amazing, see their dates in www.fcg.pt the exhibitions are also good and the other cultural programes, the garden is nice to relax in summer and there are also outdoors festivals too. Besides this nothing more to see.

The Gulbenkian Collection and Foundation is a must see. Funded by early oil pioneer Calouste Gulbenkian, the museum is wonderful. The cafe features outdoor seating and great food as well as wine. The view is very nice. People chill out here during visits. The gift shop has great books and prints. I took several large posters home to the US... More
