My 4 year old son loves stars and the space so the Planetario was of course a must when we were in Lisbon. But we were quite disappointed with how it worked. You go to a "movie show" which is 30-50 minutes and for his age there wasn't even anything, but we went to a show for 5 year olds... More

This is a great place to spend some time. After one session yo just wish to return for the diferent sessions available.

If you want to visit the stars lying down in a comfortable chair, this is the place to go. It will be dark and quiet, so many people fall asleep (my father says it's one of the best places to sleep but you pay for it). It's worth a try.

The Planetarium is located in a large Square Between 2 section on the Maritime museum (main building in the Jeronimos Monastery and Large boats exposition room) and facing Belem Cultural Centre (with Modern art museum). Great atmosphere lovely people. I wen there for a field trip. Had the time of my life. I would really like to visit again.
