We always make time to visit this wonderful park. Start with the Sea lion feeding and talk. Then move onto the Dolphin and Sea Lion show. We have seen this each time we have been previously but on the day we visited there was only one show at 3pm where there used to be one in the morning also. The... More

Very clean and well kept Zoo with Dolphin shows even in the winter. The cable car and a few other attractions were closed in February, but still was worth a visit. All sorts of animals!

The zoo is really well laid out with plenty of different animals to see. There are cafes and bars at the entrance that you can use whether you pay to go into the zoo or not. An easy place to visit with family and it is one of the stops on the sightseeing bus tour

Animation (dolfins) & visit are nice, the cable car is a great idea, just be careful with the weather : hot summer day are to be avoided because of the eat & the difficutly to stay on the shade to see animals

I think was the best zoo I ever been to because it had more animals like bears and tigers etc. Also we got to watch the dolphin show, that was really good plus we did not pay for that which was shocking. So yeah is good place to visit when you go on holiday in Portugal and if you stay... More

We were staying within walking distance of this really great Zoo and spent half a day exploring the various enclosures, watching a well thought out dolphin and sea lion show (as good as Sea World) and listening to an array of very noisy parrots and other birds. The animals are housed in some amazing enclosures which allow plenty of space... More

Lisbon Zoo is one of oldest in Europe and very diverse in the species. Lisbon Zoo participates in wildlife programs for species in danger. The zoo is quite large and is always being renovated trying to recreate the natural habitat for each animal. There is some nice shows, like the dolphin and seals show, the arara's show and also the... More

We read through the reviews before going as I've been to some amazing zoos dedicated to conservation and care and some which, quite frankly, should be closed. This zoo is strange as it is large with some amazing animals and then a little run down 'amusement park' with a pet cemetery right at one end of it. Its surrounded by... More

I have been at Lisbon's zoo before around 3 or 4 times during my childhood. I can say there has been quite an improvement in the organization and the condition of the Zoo. It is not the biggest, neither the most exotic, but it is very well organized and good enough to spend half a day inside. The zoo has... More
