We had a very nice day at the Jardim zoológico in Lisboa. The kids loved having the opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. We all appreciated the proposed shows (birds, sea lions and dolphins) and we would have stayed longer if it would have been possible. A zoo in itself is heartbreaking. To see animals in cages, going... More

It is a big zoo, with lots of animals :) I liked the monkey village most. Monkeys were very funny, especially their way of asking food. Sea lion feeding was a nice show, but dolphins show was not so interesting. The Batumi dolphinarium is far better. There is a cable car included in the ticket price, it takes you over... More

We went on a very quite day and it was all a bit sad. It all feels like someone's private collection rather than a modern and clean zoo. It all needed a bit of TLC bit everything was pretty expensive including the original ticket to get in. As someone else has said, save your money go to the aquarium instead.

Really good zoo. Must see is the Dolphin and Sealion show. Them hop on their 2 person cable car - particularly exciting as you cross the lion enclosure as they stare up at you. The Wild Forest exhibit is new and fun. See Macaws, peccaries, owls, toucans and armadillos. Oh and the children's farm - a good day out had... More

This zoo has all the major animals you can expect to find (crocodiles, lions, elephants,...) We went to see the dolphin show, which was well put together. Show was all in Portugese but after the first 5 minutes there wasn't a lot said and the show started. It was well put together, def a recommendation. Price was kinda high for... More

Great shows and really nice place. If you want to see everything it's better go early and take some munchies because you don't want to stop. It's the biggest zoo I saw so far.I go there every time I'm in Lisbon. My kids love it.

The best place for walking before your bus ride from Rede-Express. The first part of the park is free for all people and this park is really beautiful.

That was a nice place for spending the whole day going from one show to another. My husband and I managed to see the feedings of various birds, reptiles (we've got a chance to touch the snake), sea lions; we loved the show with dolphins - it was performed in a very professional energetic way by the zoo workers. Also... More

Best Zoo ive ever been too, complete with dolphin show and cable car. Really good value and if you have lots of time in Lisbon its well worth a visit, you also get a discount if your using the Lisbon sightseeing bus.

I visited the zoo for the first time in 20 years. What a difference. It's clean, full of flowers and animals walking all over. I went with my son and family, we had a great time. The caretakers were very polite and helpful. I was a great visit. I hope to return soon.
