One of the most beautiful and amazing places that I have been ! The environments are amazing. Each corner shows a different area of the globe - from artic,to tropical. The Otters and the Penguins are a separate show. So cute !

This is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It is divided in sections that you visit as you go along. Extremely well organised and an absolute most for any Lisbon visitor!

This Museum is based, mostly, on collections of Dom Carlos I, the last Portuguese ruling King (in fact, his son, was the last one, after his father murder, but only for some months..) ; not a "must to see", but deserves a visit that you wont forget.

I think it´s a must to visit in Lisbon. Very modern with 4 natural environments and a well done maintenance that you can see by yourself. We can also see feeding times when all the species get their appropriate food. Well explained for foreigners and in the neighborhoods there are a lot of restaurants and places to get a quick... What a pleasure to discover this on s Sunday outing and see all the Portuguese families showing their children these treasures of the sea. It measures up with the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Beautiful exhibits with up close views of sharks and rays. Well laid out floor plan. I kept saying wow at every stop. The penguin exhibit and otter show was a hoot.

A lot of people (almost everyone) seems to be reviewing on the wrong attractions. Mixing the aquario with the Oceonario. Both in complete opposite directions. The Aquario was more of a museum learning centre, with many fish tanks and a seal, but the atmosphere was eerie. Hardly anyone around, and then found ourselves marooned after because of the lack of... More

With 3 viewing levels of its main aquarium tank, one has the opportunity to really observe and to appreciate the vast wealth of our oceans and the diversity of life. There was only limited information provided regarding the species' present, and we found no personnel available for questions.

It is still a great place to visit, although it needs some refreshment... but it is not easy, when the competition is new and giant... I loved coming back and my child had a lot of fun too!
