Amazing views over Lisbon, overlooking the castle, the sea, and Avenida Liberdade. If you are going from the Avenida, you can take the tram uphill to get here.
We had about an hour to kill before our dinner reservation at a restaurant close by this place so we ended up hanging out here for a bit listening to live music and enjoying the view of the sunset. It's a nice place to see if you're in the area but I wouldn't come all the way up here just... More
This is a wonderful spot to take a sweeping look at Lisbon from. You can spot numerous landmarks in Eastern Lisbon from this belvedere – the main one being São Jorge castle. Just in case you need some assistance with the landmarks, there's a beautiful tiled map of the view to help you out.
We came across this viewpoint by accident and thought the view lovely especially as the other viewing points are on the other side. It had just been raining and so there were some great cloud formations. At the time of writing this (end of October) the funicular Gloria is not working.
Have a delicious glass of sangria de espumante (with cucumber) and enjoy one of the most fantastic views in Lisbon!
Arriving there from Elevador de Gloria or from Bairro Alto you are in front of a great view of Lisbon accompanied by nice gardens. One of the many miradouro, sightseeing places of Lisbon which is worth visiting.
The best miradouro in Lisbon. Not as busy as the others seemed to be and had a lovely park and fountain.
The view is worth the walk up and you can explore the lovely streets as you go. Tips: Take a coffee break on the way down and enjoy some of the delicious Portuguese pastries and cakes. You can take the tram and then the funicular up to the lookout if you prefer & do the reverse on the way down.
Went there for a second time, it is certainly the best view over Lisbon at night. The tiny chapel (Senhora do Monte) is very beautiful as well as the Lady's statue. The S. Jorge castle looks more charming when observed from this Miradouro than from anyplace else in Lisbon
as you might have seen lisbon has a lot of places from where you can admire the city called miradouro. this in one of those places where the city can be admired in his whole magnificence during day or night. (i also recommend you to come during night for beautiful photos) i would recommend you to mark all of this... More
