Nice view to St. George's and Rossio. Be sure to take the escalator uphill. The were shooting Spanish "Master Chef" when we were there, fun to watch at.
This is one of my favorite places in Lisbon. I love to stay here after a working day and enjoy the landscape at the sunset. After that, I love to go to eat in the restaurants of the Barrio Alto. Do not miss it!

This Miradouro is at the top of the old Bairro Alto area, in the western part of the city. Therefore I suggest going there around dusk, by the sunset, when the opposite hill with Sao Jorge castle and the whole central area is sunbathed. You can get real perfect photos from here. This is a lovely spot that you shouldn't miss while in Lisbon. It's calm and perfect for photos during the day. All sorts of people gather there, locals and tourists alike for a short break and very nice views over Lisbon.
From here you can see the Lisbon castle, the area called "Costa do Castelo" (trans.: Castle Coast), Martim Moniz area, Mouraria neighborhood and Alfama neighborhood, which is really beautiful by night. Be aware that this sightseeing spot is near Bairro Alto, so expect lots of (sometimes drunk) people at night, at every day of the week, but specially at weekends.... More
