I don't really understand why it should be a nice place to visit: it faces the wrong side of the city, the old and ugly one.
Went up to the park just after sunset. Took the Gloria lift to the park and had nice views. Not sure which spot has the best views of Lisbon, but this would be one of them.
A good place to view the city from above. Also a good place to start going through Bairro Alto. You can take the funicular up the hill from Praça dos Restauradores. A lot of drug pushers near the funicular, though.
Good for coffee at outdoor tables in a 19th century park overlooking downtown Lisbon. But you may not want to be there for the free-form drinking party every night into the dawn.
Every visitor to Lisbon must come here and have a drink at the outdoor cafe which provides the best views of this beautiful city.
It's a viewpoint, so of course you get a pretty good overview of the city. What makes this one so nice is the whole atmosphere around it. With 2 little kiosks, lots of people, some vendors and the Elevador da Gloria and Bairro Alto nearby, it's a must-see in Lisbon.
This is a nice spot for a sightseeing of grand part of the city. If it's your first time in the city, it worth starting here, checking city's "hotspots" at the labeled map. The location is great, right next to Chiado / Bairro Alto and there's a coffee kiosk with tables that is great to chill out in summer.
Nice terrace with a kiosk where they serve drinks, sandwiches and some pasta. Lots of pigeons as well. The staff at the kiosk is nice. And of course you get a very nice view over Lisbon. Nice and quiet location.
Always a good place to stop and breath in Lisboa, be it day, night or early hours of the morning. It can get busy but its brilliant for a quick-stop. In the summer there is live music, always wonderful!
