In our early days, rent-a-funs objective was to show Lisbon in a way that had not been thought of before making her completely cyclable, be it for those who live in it or for those simply visiting. It was our intention to do so in a responsible, sustainable and original way. However we soon realized that our best attribute is making people smile and what we do best is to make them happy. We were clueless has to why people did not leave our shop when the tour was finished. The next day they would come back for another tour, to rent a bike, to change e-mails or simply to bid us a last farewellThat was how we came to realize how good we were in creating strong bonds with people we barely new but would never forget...

They take you around, suggest places to party, tell you all you need to know and the electric bikes are a blessing on those steep uphills. And downhill on these bikes is an absolute adventure. The tour is totally worth the time.

I rented many bikes, in many cities, and while most provide good service - I don't recall such a great service. Nuro brought the bike exactly at the time we coordinated to. Bike were great mechanically, and I was provided with loads of useful extras, including two water bottles. Showed me a good route, and assured me that he is... More

Some people or services just deserve a six star rating if it would exist. Nuno and his business are worth six stars. I have rented three bikes from him and we had an amazing time! I have rented several bikes in different cities and the service we received from Nuno was wonderful, great bikes, ponchos, water, locks, helmet, just everything,...never... More

Fun, fun, fun! This is an enjoyable experience even in the rain! Riding the hills on these electric bikes is great fun. Climbing ever so quickly to breathtaking vistas is delightful. There were 9 in our group plus 2 guides. The bike guides were informative, friendly and ever vigilant about our safety. A tip; coming down the steep hills, it... More

This was the perfect way to see Lisboa and learn about the culture. We cycled up and down and all around and it was easy. We got to understand the place and it's people and our guide was interesting and knowledgeable. To add to this we got taken to local spots to try all the local goodies and perfect look... More

Biking fanatic? Well this tour will not disappoint. Despite it being a group tour, there were only two of us that day and Ricardo gave us a local glimpse of Lisbon. We biked around Alfamo and other neighbourhoods. We saw some backstreets of Lisbon and beautiful scenic points. What I particularly enjoyed about this tour is that Ricardo tailored the... More

I took this electric bike tour during my 5-days stay in Lisbon in July and found it was completely amazing experience. First of all cycling allows you to see more different places than walking tour for the same time. Secondly, the city is hilly but you can enjoy cycling every time because of the electric engine. But the most important... More

This is the best Bike tour ever! We take Bike tours every city and this one was by far the best. The electric bike helps you to navigate the Steep Lisbon street with ease and Nuno and Joel are very nice and helpful. They offer a 3 hour private tour a lot less money and we ended up doing like... Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) had a little more than 36 hours to see Lisbon and knew from prior experience in Barcelona, Rome and Porto that renting electric bikes is a superb way to see a lot (especially in the hilly cities) and have fun doing it. We reached Nuno from Rent a Fun by email to book... More

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighborhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
