A wonderful place to go with inteligent kids. They will be amazed! And so will the adults! Different experiments to play with.

We live here and love this place. I wouldn't fit this in on a short visit, or even on a week long visit, but if you are here with children for an extended period of time, definitely worth it.

Highly interesting temporary and permanent exhibitions, which fit to all ages. The adults in my group were as much or even more excited about it than the kids!

It's an interesting place for kids to try out some amazing scientific experiments, mainly in the Physics and Mechanics area. For adults, it's still an interesting place, but it becomes a little bit ordinary.

Good hands-on science, but go early or late on weekdays to avoid the chaos created by multiple school groups. Dinosaur robots eerily realistic, a definite sense of being watched. But the most uncanny thing was realising that half the exhibits came from Techniquest in Wales, no wonder we were getting a sense of deja vu! Turns out when checking the... More

We visited this due to a rainy morning and slightly bored 6 year old. It was the highlight of her trip to Lisbon and was high up their on ours. Yes its a Science Museum but its fully interactive so that rather than look and don't touch you can play with all the exhibits. There was a T-rex exhibition on... More

FUN, thats perhaps the best word to describe it. visited the T-rex exposition with my 3 yr old and it was quite amazing how life like it was :) some kids actually thought they were real. Although the T-rex expo is a temporary one, they also have other "floors" as they call it with different activities for kids of all... More

It's one of the remains of 1998 World Expo in Lisbon, which main theme was dedicated to the study of the oceans. After closing, the Portuguese Government continued to use the building to attract the youth to the easy study of science and also discovering the sea mysteries, as a complement to the nearby Lisbon Oceanarium. There are on display... More

A place to take young kids. There are a lot of experiences that they can do by themselves and learn a lot about physics, chemistry and more. Reserve an entire afternoon.
