Very interesting and useful museum for the kids of any age (including adults as well, actually). Different physical cases with their explanations and funny games.

It is a great place for curious and intelligent people of all ages to spend several hours. Wonderful for kids, with different experiments and information for different ages, it won't disappoint grown-ups (unless your brain has given up on learning).

Clearly intended for kids, but nevertheless interesting for all ages, features a hall that demonstrates interactively how rainbows and tornadoes are formed, reflections, optical illusions, physics and other brainy subjects. Also, the lady that walked around explaining how to interact with the objects was very friendly.

Visited here at start of November with family. Fairly reasonable to get in at 17 euros for a family of 4. The mind / mental health section was very interesting and lived the virtual reality "scared of heights" experience. At the end we spent an hour making 2 pairs if shoes!! Made of 3 sections, straps and all! Bit of... More

This place is amazing. We had thought that we would go for 2-3 hours and then take the children (age 11 and 9) on the hill tram after lunch, but we were so enchanted by the science museum that we stayed from 11am until 5pm, with a quick break for lunch. And we still only had time to go to... More

This science museum at the east end of Lisbon is a fun experience for adults and children alike. It is full of wonderful interactive experiences that keep children and adults fascinated, intrigued and challenged for hours. On the day we visited, there was a special exhibition on mental health with a number of hands-on exhibits demonstrating different aspects of mental... More

We had an afternoon to kill before our evening flight so opted for the science museum. 17 euros for a family was a great price and lots for our son to see and do. A few things for adults too, including the floating bike! It really was a lot of fun, makes science enjoyable for the whole family. All exhibits... More

wonderful way to spend as long as you want - we played with most of the experiments - there's just enough in English to get by. Try the floating bike, if you dare! It was the highlight of our visit!

I went there during the "Maker's Fair", and it is a nice wide space for expositions. It was 2 floors, where the first floor is an open space, whilst the second one is an interior space, also fairly big. But that's it, nothing touristic to see only by itself.
