This was a great way to see a lot of Lisbon! Really informative and friendly guides (George and Phillipe). We felt like royalty getting lots of smiles and waves from onlookers as we drove around the narrow streets. Would highly recommend this as a really fun way to see and learn a lot about this great city.

Our tour was fantastic. The guide we had, Jorge, was very flexible about the pace at which we wanted to see the city and was suprbly informative about each of the locals we visted. Jorge even went out of his way to show us a few restaurants we were looking for that weren't part of the tour! Honestly, I'm pretty... More

As a single traveller, this was a great way to travel around Lisbon and experience the city. Feeling very comfortable in the side car, Daniel drove me around the city, stopping at the best vantage points and showing me the sights and history of Lisbon. In 3 hours, you traverse the city and I now have a much better understanding... More

We met Daniel and George outside our apartment in Lisbon for a day trip with friends. We had arranged to travel around the coast through Cascais and up into the mountains near Sintra to do some off-road Segways through the forests, which I would also recommend. We were lucky with the weather and it was a beautiful, cloudless day and... More

My wife and I recently visited Lisbon for my 50th birthday, as a surprise she had booked the tour with Daniel and to be honest I wasn't sure what to expect. But as soon as Daniel arrived at our hotel to start the tour he put us at ease by explaining what was ahead of us, from start to finish... More

Such a great way to explore and see the area from different vantage points. We did the wine and tapas tour one day and decided to do the beach tour as well the next day. Driver was so nice and knowledgeable. Let us take a ton of pictures and answered all our questions. The stops along the way and people... More

We booked this tour as something different to do in Lisbon and boy were glad we did. Daniel our driver and guide was knowledgeable and fun. As it was our second visit to Lisbon it was fun to see it from another side. The tour lasts 3 and a half hours, and is fun all the way. Being a bit... More

My husband and I cannot rave enough about how incredible our short visit ( cruise port stop) was.....truly made memorable by our tour with Daniel!!!! He so obviously loves this city and this is apparent during every stop along the way. Staying in Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria

Neighborhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
