Very mixed experience. We usually use the red City Tours bus for hop on/hop off if we are travelling, but this time went for Yellow Bus. A regrettable decision. The yellow bus offered various lines and tours as well as free access to local trams, and discounts for other attractions. They also seemed to operate for longer hours than the... More

Having experienced the problems facing visitors trying to get on one of the hop on hop off bus tour (another company) we decided to take to the River Tagus for another view of Lisbon and we were not disappointed. For a reduced tariff because of our age, (always welcome) we thoroughly enjoyed our one and a half hour tour. We... More

A nice experience for a tourist or people that like to spend a day getting on the boat , off at Belem enjoy the monuments there, rest on the grass , get on again because with the ticket is for all day and we can get in and out of it. The only problem I find is having the people... More

Bought 2 tickets for the 'Tagus' route. Bus stopped for some 15 mins at the main Praca de Figueira stop before continung. Found we were then on the 'Olispo' route. No warning at all of the route change. Complained to them on their website but no response. Covered 3km in about an hour. Much more expensive than flying by Concorde.... More

My sister and I were touring around Portugal. It was our last day in the city and while we had seen most of what we wanted, we wanted to take a tour bus around for a little more general history of the city of Lisbon. We bought our tickets for the bus and got on. It was standing room only...we... More

We paid 29 euros for a 48 hour pass. It covered 4 different tours including a tram tour. As there was a strike on at the time of buying the ticket we were told we could go on their river boat trip for free, which help to compensate us. A good way to see the city I thought.

Not sure when would be the best time to take a Yellowbus tour, having read other reviews, but mid-morning is definitely not the time! Responsible queuing is not part of the Portugese culture and even trying to board a bus is like being part of an boorish and ill-mannered stampede. If you are not fortunate enough to get a seat... I booked the Open Top tour as I was told that it was more frequent than the red buses. Apparently they were not: while waiting (for almost half an hour) for a yellow bus, I saw several red buses passing by. The Tagus tour bus was more frequent, but the quality of the service was the same as on the... More

This tour operator must provide the best value for money going.29 euros gets you a 48 hour ticket which enables you to travel on the old tram system which takes you on a lovely tour round the hills of Lisbon. We did this tour twice sitting initially on the right side and then on the left side of the tram so...
