To get to the New Water Front from the Metro stop you pass through the shopping center. The architecture of the shopping center and surrounding buildings is modern and beautiful. The center itself has the usual international/global stores along with some local specialties. The food court offers a gret selection. This is a great place to go on a bad... More

I would recommend to visit this shopping center if you have time in your travel and if you have to buy any must need items for your trip. My brother bought a Sun-glass though... it was worth as we could not find a better deal online. A wide range of shops. I must say the food court was good. The... More

Next to New Water Front. It s architecturally beautiful and it is three stories, filled with international and local shops. You should visit.

It is a very modern shopping center with nice shops, cinemas and a very good food court. I would definitely recommend for a rainy day.

Well, just a few (I'd say not more than 5) real Portuguese shops there. The rest is as usual: Sephora, Douglas, Lacoste, etc etc. Plus a hipermarket downstairs (Continente). I wasn't much impressed.

Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre to the north east of Lisbon suburbs is easily accessible by metro and train, as well as many of the hop on/hop off tour buses. The Oriente station is just across the road. Fabulous shopping experience - reasonable prices by European standards. It has three main floors with a mezzanine. Huge choice of dining options... More

Like other big shopping store, this mall has spectacular architecture with several shops and restaurant (3rd fl). Another strong point is their location which closes to other attractions and landmarks, so you could stop by to grab something before going to other places.

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighborhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
