Part of what gives Lisbon such charm. Worth an afternoon of strolling around. Stop for coffee in the Brasiliero or sample Port Wine at the Solar.

My wife and I visited here on a recent trip to Lisbon. Chiado offers a very convenient location that is close to most of downtown Lisbon's favorite attractions. It is only a short walking distance to the waterfront and offers a nice variety of shopping. Chiado is situated fairly high in the city and its many shops and hotels offer... More

Very nice, cozy streets, full of history and charm. Lots of nice shops and good cafés. A walk there is a must, as well as to the adjacent Bairro Alto.

A vibrant, energetic, and social part of Lisbon. Endless options for great food, bars, shopping and nightlife. Friendly and safe, well lit and an amazing energy to be felt.

Chiado has shopping, cultural attractions, restaruants, and atmosphere. The blue and green metro lines stop at the Chiado metro station. It is also centralized so from here you can walk to other great spots in all directions including the Baixa and Bairro Alto.
