Went to the square during the daytime and even at that time its cafes and restaurants were full with tourists and locals alike. The place has a lot of historical and cultural significance for lisboa. The statues of Fernando and the rapper are a must check and you will love the ambiance of the narrow cobbled shopping streets and up... More

Busy shopping district with all the usual international and national shops, cafes, restaurants. Not especially remarkable for a tourist unless you like/want to go shopping but great to pass the time if you are trying to kill a few hours before departing for the airport.

Good for people watching over a glass of wine. Mall could have been in any city in the U.S. There is a quiet courtyard near the chapel, hidden by storefronts, with a couple of Italian restaurants and other places to stop for a drink or bite to eat.

It is the meeting place of the city, crowded, with nice terraces for a coffee and pastel de nata. From here you can take the subway any direction tou like. A pity that it lost a bit of its style...

The energy of the public square is great here. I went to the beer museum in the square here and got our beers in an upside down bottle half inside of a glass (I know it sounds weird but once you see it you'll understand) "The Elevator" also has some great views of old town.

This is a really nice area to walk around and also has some of the best shopping, sights and eateries in Lisbon. Well worth a few hours wandering around catching the views and watching the world go by.

A fascinating part of the city to immerse yourself in. Walk the streets and take in the history of this central area.

From Largo do Camoes to A Brasileira cafe you go back in time . You enjoy beautiful churches as well, cafes etc. Avoid Praca de Camoes on a weekend night. Some local rowdy youth like to congregate.
