The mix between locals and tourists, the variety of services, shops and restaurants is great. Great place to work around and explore the new infused with the old. Definitely worth a visit when in Lisbon.

Easy to get into by metro (the the escalators of the subway station Baixa-Chiado will take you directly there) well connected also by common public transports, it is a nice area full of restaurants, bakeries and boutiques. Depart from the square many small alleys in which is fun to find food or pub or local fado where to spend the... More

One of the more hip areas of Lisbon. This is where you'll see street style. As well as beautiful churches and an open area. Wonderful boutiques, cafes, or restaurants. Not to be missed.

This place had lots of shops and places to eat ..restaurants and cafes. It had a nice atmosphere and is one of the prettier areas of Lisbon. We were just walking past here. It was very busy. Beware as there are pickpockets here . so look after your purses and belongings .

Chiado is a nice area covering a few short streets and holding shops as Massimo Dutti or a beautifully located Tous, some local brands of fashion, shoes, nice jewelry, perfumeries and the great local small shop selling hand made gloves. There is also a small mall, not very attractive in terms of brand mix or appearance. Some more and better... More

Lovely place to roam around and enjoy all it has to offer . Great also for people watching and best enjoyed on foot . Nice area to sit and relax after some walking and enjoy a coffee - but keep a close eye on your bag and wallet as in all central areas of Lisbon !! It is a lovely... More

One of the main squares in Lisbon. We've been here a few times because it's so central. Be aware of metro scammers in this region (metro stops Restauradores and Baixa Chiado): they'll approach you (sometimes after helping you out recharging your metro ticket) and say that "they're 3 euros short" to buy their own metro ticket. It's just a more... More

a nice area to walk around in, full of well known brands and great as a shopping district. Within walking distance of the Bairro and other cool restaurants, bars and roadside cafes.
