I love the architecture, and how we can walk through Rua Augusta in the direction of the river. It's a huge shopping centre with some good restaurants and close to historical theatres as well as between some interesting traditional quarters.

This is the place where many major events of the Portuguese history took place, and it is here that we find things we don't find anywhere else in Lisbon - such as street musicians, living statues, excentric people and the like.

Some Shopping, some pictures, some restaurants for eating, some people watching..nice place to do all these any time of the day and with your family.

Just a great place to visit and savour some history. The city is a gem for history. Watch out for restaurant prices here it can be costly!
