So well done - the central tank is amazing and the surrounding habitats are extremely well done. The restaurant is excellent value as well.

If you want to see pretty animals, then GO! If you want to learn something, don't bother. It's a pretty impressive collection in a very logical layout (making walking through the exhibit easy), but there are very few signs, and the few signs that are there have very little information (and no QR codes for more info). Right from the... More

We (10, 12, 39 years and baby) were excited to go there, but were kind of surprised it wasn't bigger (guess we might be spoiled). Our favourite were the sea dragons!

A must see if you have extra time after seeing the most interesting and historical places in Lisbon. Located in an area nearby the area where there was an expo in 1998. It has been a while but the area still looks modern. There is a nice and modern shopping mall nearby and great restaurants facing the beachfront besides a... More

For someone whose own country doesn't have a sea, it is such a unique exprerience to walk between sharks and other ocean inhabitants! We loved every minute of our stay there! It is a very well made oceanario, really enjoyable, I recommend everyone to visit it while in Lisbon.

Normally not interested in these types of places but this was an option to get out of the intense heat! Gladly it was very good. The Oceanario is situated out of Lisbon on the Expo site. A tip; don't catch the bus that goes via anywhere except straight to the Expo site. We were on a hot bus with no... More

I was really looking forward to visiting the Oceanario in Lisbon as I love aquariums. I especially loved the Oceanografic in Valencia earlier this year where I spent the whole day, and when hearing this was one of the other larger aquariums in Europe, I had high expectations. There is no entry ticket for students, instead I had to pay... More

We decided to visit here as we like aquariums and the weather forecast was to be desired! We had a good time meandering around, looking at the fish and reading the explanation boards. There were many families with young children, but is enough to keep adults amused for a while. I'd recommend it - especially if you want to see... More
