The Oceanarium is an amazing site not to miss if you are in Lisbon. It has all kind of different and exotic fish from all over the world. Appreciated by adults and children although it can be a bit tiring for small children has the visit will last at least 2h. more
This is a must see place! The central tank is massive and you can see in from many different angles. It has sharks, tuna, and a gigantic sunfish!! He seemed to know he was the star and made many trips passed visitors. Several times, we just sat on the floor right up against the glass and stared at the passing... more
During our Easter week 2009 visit to Lisbon, my wife read this was a "must see" place. We took the Metro to Orietnte station on the red line, got off & walked the short distance to it. It is very well done & worth a visit. Especially if you have young children with you, they will enjoy it! Yes, the... more

We were there last April, 2006. The Oceanarium is great. It is well kept and the exhibitions, specially the penguins and the otters are amazing. more

Not a bad looking fish, just unusual and his numbers a declining quickly in the wild. I'm sure children of all ages would enjoy a... more
If you go to Lisbon make sure you visit the Oceanarium, it is well laid out with plenty to see. more
The Oceanarium is easy to reach. Take the metro to Oriente (Red Line), then walk through the huge 'Vasco da Gama' shopping mall (good buffet lunches on top floor - remember that here you pay by weight so don't overload your plate), then turn right and it's 5 minutes' walk. Admission is 9 euros, with a small reduction for students.... more
