It is hard to compare Lisbon's Oceanário with anything else. The Oceanario was desgined and built during the Expo 98, and since then it has done an amazing job in preserving a lot of marine species, while also doing an outstanding job in teaching its visitors about how to better preserve the ocean. The Oceanario houses species from all the... More

If you travel with kids, its mandatory to came here! If you travel solo, it's an amazing experience! Well maintained, the central aquarium is a must. It's another world, an unforgetful experience! Very carefully planned space, well-cared of aquariums. Loved the penguins and otters, they are the stars there! Also enjoyed the projection of the "behind the scenes" film with English subtitles, it answered lots of questions we had. More

We went here on our last day and it is one of the best aquariums we have visited. Our son (7 months old) was mesmerised! More

Expected more . Good for kids as it is well laid out and some of the side exhibits are worth the extra ticket cost. More

It's difficult to find enough superlatives to explain how fantastic the Oceanario is. It's easy to get to - just 10 minutes walk from the Oriente station - and although the queue to buy tickets (on a rainy Sunday) was long we were served quickly. We paid €16 each including the temporary exhibition. Once in, we loved the sea turtles,... More
