This is one of the best oceanariums in the world. It gives one a chance to see the living world there, and shows how our actions (fishing, polluting, using water) has an effect on the many living creatures in the four major oceans (including many types of fish, birds, corral, etc). Set around a main tank, there are mini biodomes... More

As aquariums go, this one is among the best. It's one of 2 aquariums I have seen the sun fish (the other being in Valencia, spain) and showcases quite a wide array of marine life. Outstanding displays were that of the penguins and sea otters (2 very delightful ones frolicking playfully). Contrary to this being an aquarium, the one thing... More

For me, the penguins and the sun fish were the highlight of the visit to the Oceanarium. There's lots of good selection of fish. Try to be there when the fish/penguins are getting fed, it's so much fun to watch. Oceanarium is a little out of town, but it's worth the visit if you like aquariums and are staying in... More

Great place, beautiful architecture and a huge variety of species. We took a taxi (it's cheap in Lisbon) and all the surround area is nice and has beautiful views. Worth going!

This aquarium is is brilliant. I saw fish that I haven't seen before and it is really well laid out with the big main aquarium in the middle so you get different views as you want around looking at the smaller ones. Definitely worth the visit and it is good value for money.

Great aquarium and a place you surly should not miss in Lisbon! Easy access with metro. Great for a rainy day.

Very good in general, but beware of the birds that fly around in one of the area which may, and actually did on me, drop faeces. Not a particularly pleasant experience for me, but the aquarium is excellent in terms of the variety of species (with poison dart frogs which I didn't expect to see)

This dwarfs any other aquarium and is well worth the visit even if the children are teen-agers. The surrounding modern architecture also calls for a stroll and an afternoon meal taking in the views.
