I am a diver, and this visit made me want to plan another dive trip. You will find beautiful displays full of all sorts of fantastic fish! We even found a frogfish in one of the small side tanks. The more time you spend looking, the more fantastic fish you will see! I recommend that you do not stop when... More

Fabulous species of fish and other mammals, but despaired of the people in front of us at every window, making interminable videos.

Interesting, educative. Great opportunity to learn about water and its life. Big but compact premises.

Just visited the aquarium and it's one of the best we've ever been to. Lots to see and we came on a Monday when it was not crowded and we could explore at our leisure. We loved the massive central tank and how it looked different from all angles, above and below, etc. the smaller tanks were also well presented.... More

What a lovely place. The aquarium is set in 4 areas that have their own exibits of life; antarctic, tropical, pacific and indian. From that, they are all linked via one massive tank that has a variety of marine life. There was so much to explore, it pretty much is a day trip. The temporary exhibit had turtles in it.... More

Worth a visit, although far from center. We first tryed to take the train from Santa Apolinia but the wait for the next train was so long that we took the metro around. That took a hour! The place itself was interesting and worth the travel. Huge centertank with hugely variation to the fish in it. Dont know how they... More

Wow was my first impression of Oceanario De Lisboa - informative, respectful of wildlife and educational. Loved it! Staff are helpful and go out of their way to answer questions and offer information. The sea otters were a personal highlight! I would avoid school holidays as I can imagine it gets very busy.
