Worth the trek. The view is spectacular even from base of statue. Take the €4 elevator to the top only if your not claustrophobic as it's very narrow at the top but WOW it's worth it.

This is a wonderful view that you must visit on a beautiful day! When the weather is lovely and the skies are clear, you get the feel the beauty as you look beyond the river to Lisbon and look back at Almada (the area that holds this monument). It is worth the price because the actual size of Cristo Rio... More

In nice weather you have to visit also this attraction. It was really good to stand under the Cristo Rei. The travel was not so easy, we have not found any direct line and the bus from this side did not run so often on those days. But it was in the morning hours, so probably in the afternoon the... An awesome view, definitely not for people that suffer from vertigo. Nice drive across the river and a must visit when in Lisbon

This really was a breath taking experience. Its a couple of Euros to go right to the top. You do have to climb a small amount of stairs to get outside to the viewing platform. Fantastic views of the bridge and Lisbon once you are out there. The sheer size of the statue is truly breathtaking once you are up... More

You pay €4 to go in a lift to the top of the statue. It was very crowded but the views were brilliant. I would definitely recommend this, and there is a bus which takes you to the statue from the harbour. There are a few chapels inside the statue.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Cristo Rei. My friend and I are not religious, but wanted to experience a piece of Lisboa's history, and see a beautiful monument. We were so impressed! This is a large monument, with an elevator to take you to the top (for about 5 euro I believe, well worth it) to get some... More

A little difficult to get there, you have to cross the bridge and find your path through Almada, and the attraction is not so well signalized. But is worth the view, the bridge is fantastic, also whole Lisbon.

Take the ferry and the bus 101. If you like to walk - go by foot (approximately 30 Minutes, light hiking). The view all over Lisbon is fantastic.
