Worth one visit if you havenot seen Rio Original. Gifted by Brazil to Portugal a replica of Rio. Expensive to go up but worth one visit especially for the lovely Lisbon view from atop. To go up by lift and then climb bit hard narrow 90 steps. Lovely view of Full lisbon including Vasco Bridge.

We stopped here to have a look at Lissabon from the other side of the river and got the fantastic view at the bridge and over the river. The statue was impressing and a copy of the Brazilian one. We enjoyed the time there, making pictures and just looking around!

Well worth a visit. For us, the spiritual aspect was important, but the site also offers the most spectacular views of the city and surrounding sea and river.

Easy ferry crossing and short bus ride to iconic statue. Modernistic painting in modern chapel, but take elevator to the top for panoramic view of the whole city. Don't miss.

Best views over Lisbon and Balem. However, the grounds provide these views and I'm not sure the 4 euros per person is worth paying to go up the monument. Although, the cost does go towards its upkeep. My advice for the best photos is to go as close to sunrise or sunset as possible, to get the best light for... More

Get the metro to Cais de Sodre, cross the road to the barco (ferry) terminal and cross over to Cacilhas (takes roughly 12 minutes). Leave the ferry terminal and turn left, go past the tram terminal office to the bus stop for service 101 which runs every 30 minutes to the monument where it terminates - or you can walk.... More

This is the best place for breathtaking views over Lisbon. The entrance for the elevator is 4€ and it's worth it.

We took public transit from our hotel (Sheraton) to this site. It took about an hour, with a two subways, ferry, and bus ride. The cost for four was about 20 euros. On the return trip, we decided to take a tax, the cost was 18 euros, and it took about 10 minutes! This monument is not as impressive or... More
