This busy beach is a nice spot along the esplanade, especially for families with kids as the waters tend to be more calm here. Have a snack at the nice, but overpriced snack bar "Tamariz" or walk along the esplanade to find numerous other good options.

Nice beach and easily reached, walk along promenade a lot of places to eat , also when finished for the day, return at night for the Tamariz beach club, good rave overlooking the sea with three areas and a nice place to chill on a summers night.

Nice busy beach with seawater swimming pool and old fashionedly dangerous diving point on a concrete block in the sea. Free zumba lessons on the boardwalk attracted many a female tourist.

Great beach, ideal for everybody. Fine sand. Umbrellas and loungers available for hire and very good rates. Close to bars and restaurants. For those more active, the esplanade acts as a running/cycle track - Cascais one way, Sao Pedro the other way. Has a man made lagoon adjacent to beach. Also has a wall that extends out to sea, ideal... More

Tamariz beach is lovely, the sea and sand is nice. There are a few nice bars to get food and a drink. The beach would have probably been much nicer if we had some nice weather.

We rode our Bicas from Estoril to the beach. It is a pleasant and very scenic ride. There were a number of surfers out as well as lots of surfers-to-be taking instruction. There are several spots to purchase lunch, dinner, or a snack. It is definitely a must-see as the shorelines and beaches are somewhat different from Estoril.
