A sandy beach, sun loungers and parasols, a cafe and restaurant, ice creams, free and very clean shower and loo block. All this just a couple of minutes from the train station - brilliant!

Lovely beaches in Cascais however as was suggested to me from another review get off the train at Estoril which has a gorgeous beach and walk along the promenade to Cascais. Takes about 20 minutes with great views and beautiful seafood resturants!

Lovely sandy beach with great restaurants on the promenade, if you dont like too much sun take your own umbrella as shades and chairs not so cheap at Euro 15 for 7 hours
