Lots of people but careless and uninterested in a friendly sort of way. The water seems to be a bit warmer than at other coasts of Portuguese Atlantic,... More

It was quite crowded in June but not heaving. Beds and umbrella available but equally a good public bit. Local bars and restaurants are good.

Beautiful beach but very crowded , sun beds and umbrellas available to hire in sectioned off area at reasonable rates . Now you will find it very crowded during mid June till mid September, it is always nice to walk on the 'paredão' from S.João Estoril till Cascais center, along the seaside

Just returned from a week in Mount Estoril and visited this beach every day. At the start of the week it was quite but got very busy by weekend. Lovely clean beach, lifeguards visible along with marine police and two policemen usually present. Also a castle overlooking it. We entered using the underpass as its beside train station. Plenty of... More

It is not expensive to eat just a bit more than average ... You can hire a bed... More

Sandy beach or rented chairs with cover this seems to be the place to go. Easy access to the water & restaurants near by for food & drinks.
