Sandy beach or rented chairs with cover this seems to be the place to go. Easy access to the water & restaurants near by for food & drinks.

Great clean. Lovely promenade to carcass. Decent crowd. No nudism seen. A very family oriented beach. Near the station. Don't know how safe it is but safety instructions available. Yes nice for those who love the sun and sand. Nice hotels reasonably prized near by

This is my favourite beach in Estoril. It is so lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to have a cold drink/ coffee/ lovely food. although you pay a little bit more for that drink or coffee the enjoyment of sitting by the beach and chilling is worth it.. It is not expensive to eat just a bit more than... More

Estoril was very popular with European nobility during WWII, it also became a nest of German & British spies due to Portugal's neutrality during the war. The lovely beach of Tamariz features a stunning castle owned by the Royal family of Monaco. Just a bit cold and windy in early spring.

Very nice sights, pleasant atmosphere ... lots of people walking, jogging ... We've spent a couple of very enjoyable hours on this beach. Unfortunately it was too cold to take a bath in the sea :-((

An easy stroll from cascais or estoril, this spot can be enjoyed on the sand or overlooking the beach from outdoor cafes or bars. Toilets and ice cream sellers too, fantastic beach for all the family.

Tamariz beach is an urbanized beach with a seaside promenade with bars, restaurants and a nightclub. The beach is clean and pleasant and the sunset is beautiful. The restaurants also have quality food. So this beach is very versatile. It's good to use during the day to bathe and to have lunch with family, and it is good at night... More

This busy beach is a nice spot along the esplanade, especially for families with kids as the waters tend to be more calm here. Have a snack at the nice, but overpriced snack bar "Tamariz" or walk along the esplanade to find numerous other good options.

Nice beach and easily reached, walk along promenade a lot of places to eat , also when finished for the day, return at night for the Tamariz beach club, good rave overlooking the sea with three areas and a nice place to chill on a summers night.
