We played for 5 days last week after booking through Your Golf Travel and got a great deal whilst staying at the Hotel Palacio. The course has been a championship class course in the past but is now too short for the modern day top professionals. This doesn't stop it being a great challenge for the rest of us. My... More

80 years of history. A tricky and rather short golf course embedded by old trees, new villas and splitted by the highway, a very special golfing day. Play smart or you will be penalized. I booked a local caddy, highly recommended, the €35 very well spent. The greens extremely fast, but unfortunately in a very bad condition. So are the... More

We stayed at the hotel Palacio that was kind enough to organize the golf rounds for us at reasonable cost and easy transfer to and from the golf course. The 18-hole championship course is not very long, but challenging with varying fairways, fast greens and enough water and sand traps, etc. Weather at early December was surprizingly comfortable (18 C... Played a round a golf in early November and really enjoyed the course. Great design with a number of great holes. An old style course lined with trees and some beautiful villas. Only complaint was with the rental clubs as they had graphite shafts. Staff was very helpful.

Friendly staff. Interesting golfcourse, not very long, but some challenges are waiting for you (plenty of trees/ pine, mimosa, eucalyptus.... and some of the greens are quite tricky / hole 5 for example!) Your reward is waiting on hole 12, here you can enjoy a snack with a drink served by the friendly Mr. Alvaro, don't miss this. The club-house... More

This course is an absolute must to play. A couple of short par 4s but the par threes are fab. A typical members club with dress code. Food is very good but be careful of the burgers. They always come rare. But one of the best courses in Portugual.

We had a wonderful round of golf here. this is the third time I've played the course and its a great course. Not too long, but a challenge. The old locker rooms are wonderful. The food and bar is basic but it does the job. If playing in the area, this course has to be on the list.

Wonderful golf course that we enjoyed on the best of days (28C). Not too long, no unnecessary water and nothing quirky about the design or layout. Some great Par 3s too. Would recommend a buggy - it's pretty hilly at stages, and there are some parts where it's a bit of stroll between greens to tees. But buggies weren't readily... More

The course has a good layout, fairways and greens in good condition - much better than all of the other courses in the region especially the condition vs the others which seemed to be suffering from lack of investment on maintenance.
