When the sky is clear, you can spend the day exploring Monte Brasil. Many points of view over the city and the ocean. There's even picnic areas and barbecues!

It is probably unfair to rate it as a POOR, however the day we walked up - nice walk by the way - the low cloud came in and it started to rain. We could not see more than 100 metres, perhaps less. Angra itself was very nice. By the time we had got back into town the sun was... More

Amazing view. Amazing place. Amazing landscape. I've went here 20 years ago, and i still remember the experience. Went there for an Easter family lunch, the day was very good wtih clear and sunny skies. Good family/couples/groups experience. Recommend 100%

When staying in Angra, a walk up to Monte Brasil is more or less mandatory. You don't need to climb to the top to get a view. Walking to the small chapel Santo Antonio and further away from Angra is also an option.

If you have the time and opportunity walk there, and get off the road. There are a lot of trails, all worthwhile. The saddest thing about the place are the caged animals, didn't liked those. But the view is amazing, the landscape incredible. Don't miss the place.

We walked from town up the hill to see the view of the city. There is an Army base up there and you walk past the guards. You can drive up too. This is a great place for pictures.

Its in a great location with wonderful views of the city of angra and SO many things for kids of all ages. Hills and a track and many different jungle gyms. But they're starting to show their age due to being in the weather. Some bolts are getting loose and the wood is starting to bend a little too much... More
