2 Beautiful Lakes

Gorgeous scenery and mountainsides - breathtaking view of the 2 different colored lakes - flowers all along the roadside. Each picture we took is like a postcard.

We are still in awe of the Caldeiras! It is amazing to see God's handiwork up close and personal. Would recommend this venue to anyone who appreciates nature and beautiful surroundings.

Go for the view from viewpoint Vista do Rei! You can actually see one lake has a green colour and the big lake has a blue colour. Also stop at the viewpoints on your way down to the Caldeira.

Sao Miguel Azores, is without question beautiful. I could go on for days and hours and even write a novel all about the island. This was our second vacation there in the last 1.5 years, both were at different times of the year. Tourism is on the rise in Sao Miguel, and with that comes some small challenges in my... More

When you get a clear day, is just the most amazing views you can have. So green and peaceful, the best nature can show you. try the hiking trails, or even just a little walk around the lakes. worth going, one of the best places to go in Azores.

absolutely stunning views, a must do ! just try to go there on sunny day, as on the islands its raining often and it can ruin the view. i went in may and it was raining most of the time, so trust tour operators on suggestions on witch day to go.

We headed to Sete Cidades which is on the other side of the island from Ponta Delgada with a rented car for a good price. Sete Cidades sits on the shores of two lakes that lie in the hollow of a volcanic crater. The views coming into Sete Cidades are absolutely spectacular. There are a number of viewpoints along the... Such a beautiful place! It's almost surreal. I came here with a group of students during the March Break this year. It was a perfect day - mild, sunny, and clear skies. It is a great hike and an amazing place for both nature lovers and the active. That being said, it is not very accessible for people with mobility... More

If you have lucky, and there is not a single cloud in the sky, we can have one of the most beautiful views in your life: 2 different lagunes with unique colors, the green mountains on both sides and in front the blue ocean! Paradise!!
