An incredible experience during which we saw Sperm Whales and Fin Whales as well as two species of dolphin, playing around the boat. Staff on board were all marine biologists and educated us well during the 4 hour trip. We were lucky to see so much on a glorious sunny day. Sightings are not guaranteed as animals are in the... Positives • Detailed briefing on dolphin species, equipment, safety • Very sensitive to the dolphin’s behaviour (ie only allowed two customers in at a time, turned the motor off on entry into the water) • Chance to swim with two species of dolphin: bottlenose & common, and multiple different pods which were expertly located • Every person in the boat... Did a half day whale watching with them. Saw a lot of dolphins but no whales, which is no ones fault. They tell you clearly in the beginning they don't guarantee it however one of the receptionist told me they have 99% hit rate with seeing whales which seems overstated when you ask around.

A highly professional company, with priority for care & well being for the animals. All the staff were knowledgeable, professional & friendly & generous with their time & information despite being busy with the schedule & commitments. In all we went on 4 trips & each trip had the same high standard. The company's ethics & ethos is necessary for... More

We've booked a whale spotting tour in a wonderful afternoon in August. Futorismo explained that the capitain basically listens to instructions of whale watchers around the coast as to know where whales are. Our trip went fine for the dolphins, which are always more or less on the same locations. After that, the boot headed for villa nova de franco... More

Extremely professional service. From the briefing to the respect for the animals, the team delivers a great service. During our trip we were lucky enough to watch 3 types of dolphins and 2 whales. The boat, a catamaran, was very confortable and safe.

We have booked 1 day trip whale watching + Vila Franco island. We have been really lucky! The weather was perfect, we have seen whales, cachalots, dolphins! Our staff have been really nice and friendly. Luch was really great and well-organized. Vila Franci is nice place but crowdy a bit. Also don't try to leave the lake inside it -... More

This was a major highlight of our visit to the Azores. I had dreamed of seeing a whale, but although we did not, in spite of the concerted efforts of the guide and captain, the three pods of dolphins we saw MORE than made up for it. Plus, the trip itself was fantastic. Upon return, I found that my jaws... More

Went on the catamaran with knowledgeable guides. Saw sperm whales, pilot whales and a leatherback turtle! Liked the fact that the catamaran did not get too close to the whales in a way that could hurt or disturb them (unlike other boat we spotted), while still allowing us to see them and take photos. Highly recommended if you want an... More
