What can I say? Breathtaking sceneries, unique nature, friendly people and not spoiled by tourism. Very beautiful and laid back place very much worth to visit at least once. Weather can be unpredictable but it's never too cold or too hot. Friendly showers will be followed by sunshine every time. Be sure to visit Sete Cidates - the twinlakes, Furnas... more

We had an amazing all day trip through Panazorica Tours with a guide called Maria what she knew about the island and its history was amazing, We visited the Sete Cidades, the views were to die for followed by a lunch at Miss Fatima's house. Based in Ponta Delgada, [----] , we did two half day tours to Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo, well worth the money. Each tour is about three and a half hours, Sandra gave interesting chat points but did not give too much information to bore.
