Exceeded expectations

Marco was both pleasant and knowledgable. We very much enjoyed learning about marine biology and geology of the region. The boat ride was fun and very comfortable. Great time...

We had a fantastic tour with the ocean eye both the skipper and the guide were marine biologist. We were given lots of information of both the geology of Faial and the marine life. The high light of our trip was seeing bottle noses Dolphins and false killer whales swim along side the boat amazing! :) :)

No doubt a wonderful experience to have when you're by yourself and especially with kids. A very nice and integrating crew! A beautiful day at sea.

This is a great trip out. There is the opportunity to swim in the warmer water near some undersea vents, but for us the highlight was drifting along looking at Parrot fish, various rays and listening to the very knowledgable marine biologists explain it all and point out things you wouldn't otherwise have spotted yourself. Two hours went very fast.... More

We experienced this tour and we found it interesting. Above all the guides who are very passionate and properly explained in a simple way about the sealife and local natural phenomena. Strongly recommended especially for non-snorklying people and families with kids.

It's a really nice trip, where you will see the bottom of the sea next to the Island of Faial. They have (i think) two diferent trips. In ours, we went to see a cave in Monte da Guia, where they enter with the boat, and then we went to the other side of the bay, near the beach of... More

Great experience with a highly qualified team. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it so much we repeated a second trip. Surprisingly, it was even better, we got to see a dusky grouper of considerable size among other beautiful things. Just one remark regarding the previous comment. My girlfriend and I both own a PhD in Marine biology and were very... More

Staff seem unknowledgeable. Very poor info is given throughout the tour. Very little of sea life is seen. You´re better off snorkeling where you´ll see the same as on the boat and save alot more money. Definitly a tourist trap.
