Very poor range of shabby goods available. Knock off watches, jewellery and bags etc. Not really worth the visit! Head for the town's centre and cultural market.

This market reminded me a lot of the markets they used to have in Czech before they became part of the EU. Really good prices. A great place to buy your souvenirs.

A gypsy market. Lots of stalls selling a variation of the same products. Not great quality. I think we would have been better going to the indoor market and seeing lovely fruit and veg instead. Nice church up the hill nearby though which has a great view so that was a bonus!

It's a total waste of time . They only sell Fake goods at high prices. Don't waste a morning . We went over only to find stalls selling the same stuff .

Someone in our group was keen to check this market out. Going to loule to buy groceries from the food market anyway so went to the gypsy market first. Parking was very difficult at 12 pm on Saturday: we had been there on wed and it was sooo much quieter. Gypsy market is essentially tourist Knock off poor quality items... More

We visited the market on a boiling summer morning and we're greeted with knock-off fakes on 95% of the stalls. Most stallholders spoke broken English. Were in and out within 20 mins. Wouldn't recommend it unless you want to buy cheap (€5) knock-off fake goods. Same market as Quarteira too.

Had a lovely day out in Loule with friends and family, drove there in two cars. A typical small town cafe atmosphere. Great value for everything we bought from the market and shops, nothing but gentle friendly service. So that's that said. However I would not advocate going to Loule due to a contrived rip off exploitation of tourists by... More

This market is pretty poor. It took us about 10 minutes to walk around it. BUT, we did this as a trip through the First Choice rep in the hotel and on the basis that you get a couple of hours to wander around the beautiful streets of Loule, browse the shops, and stroll around the food market, so it's... Took a 3 hour excursion to Loule including the market. About an hour for the market and an hour for the town is long enough. Didn't buy anything at the gypsy market but there was a good local craft shop in the high street in the town.
