Plenty of all sorts, clothes, handbags, jewellery etc. just keep a tight hold of your handbags. Have a good look round as prices do vary from stall to stall.

This is one market I will not be returning to. Loads of clothes stalls selling cheap tshirts and such like. Didn't buy anything, just walked quickly round. Not a patch on the main market in Loule town centre. Don't bother visiting.

The Market is like most markets but I gave it an excellent because I think everyone needs to visit this part of Portugal. When you come away from the market and walk up towards the farmers market you come to the old part of town . It is beautiful truly beautiful .. the castle and the street "rua de outubro"... More

I am afraid that the gypsy market is extremely poor. Not that many stalls, all selling the same things. I took visiting family there last Saturday and they were very disappointed. They did however enjoy the main market in the centre of Loule.

We caught the train to Loule not realising that it was a good 5kmfrom the train station! Hailed a taxi, who took us for about 10€ each way to the gypsy market! It was awful - like a shanty town! Most stalls selling identical items of tat! Not to be recommended !

We went to the market a Saturday and did buy a few things, but the market is not really that good. There are quite a few stalls, but they all sell the same things: Shoes, T-shirts, caps, toys and there were also a few food stalls. The police was present at the market, but we were still offered drugs two... More

Visited the Loulé market and the Loulé Gipsy market twice in the past couple of years. But be aware: these are two different markets at different locations in Loulé. The local market in the city center (a red/pinkish moorish building at the Praca da República) is definitively worth a visit, enjoyed it every time. You can see locals selling produce... More

Good fun haggling with sellers. Selection of handbags, clothes, sunglasses, jewellery, tea towels etc. Waiting on bus we got a lovely freshly squeezed orange juice at café next door.

All they sell is fruit, veg and very smelly fish. Full of crippled beggars and people on stilts. Waste of time and euros.

My husband loves shopping and wandering round stalls etc.He bought a couple of belts and I got the usual tea towels. I also got a wee black purse at a fab price. Oranges we bought at car park a bit expensive but too late once you've bought them! It's fairly big so if you like that kind of thing defo... More
