Stumbled upon this nice little bar up the street leading to the hospital, on the right hand side of the church. I had been in there many years ago (1988) when it was owned by a different person. We met Nunes, the owner, and spent a few really good evenings in there. Nunes is a very nice, friendly guy. Very... More

The Lionheart was recommended by the gentleman we booked our apartment with and quickly became a regular feature during our fantastic stay in Lagos. Holidaying with young children we were more than well looked after by Jose, his brother and staff. The Lionheart has a warm welcoming atmosphere. Jose was an excellent tour guide, not to mention bar man, offering... More

Great place great people. The owner of the bar Jose looked after us like family. He remembered our names and drinks after one visit. Great range of drinks and great prices. Karaoke, darts. A real local bar that's really friendly. Top marks. We'll be back.

Not long now before we see the brothers J & G when the 'Luton Boys' hit the streets of Lagos and our first port of call (EVENING TIME) is yes you guessed it - THE LIONHEART. I'm sure their stock of Super Bock & Crystal will need replenishing by the time we leave the bar and that's the first night.... More

This bar is the closest thing you'll find to a Portuguese "pub" - plenty of tables to sit at if you want to a quiet drink, or sit at the bar to chat with the owner and friends. Very good value drinks, especially during happy hour, and there are three internet terminals, which are free for customers to use
