Probably the most beautiful beach in Portugal ! The view over the beach from the top is breathtaking. The colorful cliffs embrace the little beach with a magnificent rock formations. It's a sheltered bay, great for swimming. The way down to the beach is by a series of wooden steps and there are quite a lot of them, some workout.... More

Went to this beach on a sunny day in April, and we had it to ourselves. It is absolutely breathtaking, and along with Praia de marinha was our favourite beach in the algarve. If you like secluded and off the beaten track, this is for you. The only down side I could see is that it is pretty small, so... More

This beach is very cool. I stopped in for a break during a SUP session and got such a great feeling lying on the beach and looking up at the steep cliffs all around you. There are much better beaches close by for kids but this one is pretty cool when you are solo or with a friend.

Just a small beach outside of Lagos, reached by 18 flights of 11 steps. Remember you have to come back up! Some interesting grottoes and rock formations. We had a nice visit with only a half dozen people or so.

Great beach - if a bit awkward to get to, but worth the visit. Great scenery and a must on your Lagos sight seeing travels.

its a long way down and an even longer way back up, but if you have the energy you can enjoy this small secluded beach if you avoid the busy summer months
