The old course was great but the new 27-hole course is even better!! 1-18 is a pretty tough test, especially off the white tees so for a more relaxing holiday game I would recommend 10-27. The views are fabulous all round the course which makes a game of golf at Palmares a "must do" for every golfer visiting the Algarve. More

Played here at the begginning of MArch and the course was in pristine condition. The views are breathtaking and i have not played a better course anywhere in Portugal, add to the that the wonderfull staff and Palmeres really is 5 star!!! More

Played at the end of January and was slightly disappointed with the greens as they were still recovering after being hollow tined. Wonderful layout, the views are fantastic from every hole. The greens had been hollow tined but still very true, would love to play them at there best. First 9 is a true links course, the back 9 in the forest. Very challenging course, with stunning views of the sea. More
