A small zoo but excellent value. You are very close to all the animals and it is possible to interact with some of them . The descriptions are in Portuguese and English . Toilets are clean and tidy . Food is available good value and not over priced. Great trip for younger children especially

Very well looked after animals, clean environment and great to see the animals mixed together making it a little more realistic. We saw no evidence of animals in distress/pacing and our daughter loved the push along car that she could go in!

Parque is maybe smaller that in Lisbon but - kangaroo around you, peacocs, reindeers (surprise), lemurs etc - unforgottable.

Great little zoo, well worth a visit. A few too many birds maybe, but monkeys and apes are there to see. Lots of trees mean plenty of shade so doesn't get too hot walking around.

Great little trip, out for younger children, plenty for them to see and do. Get very close to the birds and animals, some wallabies run around freely so it's great for the little ones The zoo provides some little push cars for little ones to ride which is great fun and means you can leave the buggy behind It's not a... Took my two teenagers and had a brilliant time. Primate Island is wonderful & I could have spent much longer sitting & watching. A prairie dog had escaped, but staff were not concerened "He does that, he will go home". Peacocks scavenging food at the cafe, brilliant. No animal seemed stressed and all seemed content. Got a 10% discount booking... More

Lovely zoo. Not very big but with three small children tagging along and with the heat I wouldn't want a whole day out. Took about two hours to get around. Snack bar inside perfect for ice cream. Restaurant located out front but prices seemed extravagant. Lots of different birds. Different varieties of monkeys too some very loud. Nice stroll around... More

Wonderful day out well worth the trip. Zoo itself not massive but with three small kids in tow I wouldn't want it to be an all day thing. Took us just over 2hours to go around. Small cafe area inside perfect for ice cream. Restaurant out front although prices seened a bit much. Toilet facilities inside. Lots of birds, some... More

What a wonderful little animal park!! It's impeccably clean, the animals and birds are well taken care of and the staff are friendly. I love that the birds get a courting cage and then move to the married cage once they've chosen their mate! We took the kids many times over the winter we spent in lagos! What a peaceful... More

A small zoo with limited animals (many birds) in questionably sized cages. Food in the snack bar was only very average.
