We've been to the zoo a couple of times now and our favourite attraction are the monkeys and apes. Their open enclosures were amazing and the whole area beautifully landscaped. We went in January and we encountered less than 12 people during our three hour visit. The gardens are well tended and had the feel of a tropical paradise. The... More

Went with friends as some fun, and I was pleasantly surprised. A medium sized zoo with lots to see and do. Love walking though a small park and have wallabies bouncing around me was a first. Many differnt animals from birds to monkeys. We went in January and there wasn't many pepole there, so I wouldn't know what this zoo... More

Having been to the zoo before in the summer, i was interested to see what the difference would be in December. All I can say was it was even better, the effort put into the christmas season was brilliant and it was even cheaper to get in... I would happily have paid more, the reindeer as always are so friendly... More

I think that people who complain about the fees charged to enter Zoos should shut up or stop going. Animals and birds need a lot of looking after. 365 days a year of looking after. This Zoo had beautifully maintained grounds and enclosures. They had a Christmas theme including reindeer, who loved a stroke. The various cages and enclosures had shade... More

The visit to the zoo was fabulous, it's not huge and doesn't boost big cats and elephants, but was it does offer are lovely interesting surroundings, with some animals wandering free such as the wallabys, and some birds. We were greeted by reindeer as we entered, you can stroke them and they are really friendly. there are alot of birds,... More

My friend and I visited Lagos Zoo at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It feels like such a happy place. The staff were lovely. It's relatively cheap. All the animals seem to be happy and enjoying the zoo. The monkey islands were awesome! We loved how we felt the animals were allowed to kind of cruise around... More

We went on a cold, grey and wet day but had a brilliant time. At 16€ it isn't cheap but worth every penny. All the birds and animals are in tip top condition, a few enclosures could be larger but the inhabitants seemed very happy. As it's a compact area it's very easy to walk around. All the animals are... More

If you want elephants and lions you won't find them as this is a small privately owned zoo. But it has a great range of animals, especially monkeys and exotic birds and is brilliant on conservation. You can get up close to the animals and I took some fantastic photos. A superb attached restaurant as well (O Cangalo)

A great little zoo. Well worth a visit. They take your photo when you go in with a parrot, don't be afraid to pose it how you want to. I got a beautiful close up of my daughter with one on her shoulder. You can choose to buy or not when you leave. We live near by and have been... More
