Great walking beach

The water looks inviting but a bit chilly for a dip. Golden soft sand with a few shells washed up. Try an evening walk at sunset, superb, and not busy.

This beach is pretty huge and not right in the city; that means it's a little less crowded. Trying to camp in the high season probably isn't the best idea, as it is illegal... but during the rest of the year, no one seems to mind. We stocked up in town (5-10 min walk) with wine and snacks, chilled all... More

Miles of golden sandy beach! It does tend to get a bit windy but the area is close to shops and restaurants so it doesn't really matter. If you can try to find freshly grilled sardines on the beach!

Lovely beach clean a few beach bars dotted along. There is a small ferry you can take across from the town for one euro, a good walk from the large rocks at the start of Meia Praia to the estuary a few miles away with golden sands all the way beautiful .

Great views, lovely beach with free sunbeds and towels if you stay at the Tivoli. A good place to relax with a drink or two and get some light snackds.

Lovely beach at walking distance from the city. Great for walking and swimming. Has also a few bars / restaurants on the beach. Very good place to have a lazy afternoon away from the very busy town.

This is a lovely long sandy beach great for a long walk. It is on the east side of Lagos and you have to go back across the river to get to it. There are no high cliffs on this beach. There are lounges available to rent. Life guards on part of the beach. The Gaivota Branca restaurant is on... More

Long beach with plenty of space to be quiet. South facing. We drive to the end car park and park near the cafe, then walk along the wooden raised footpaths to the beach.
