The access is very easy. There are sunbeds available and the beach is very clean and very long and therefore does not get crowded

The sand is awesome and the beach is situated in a bay. Fantastic and worth of your visit. You can take the water taxi ('Vai Vem') to put you over the 5 meters wide river. Go to the right along the pier and you will be arriving quickly.

Good beach, a little too big for my taste though. From Lagos, take the little ferry across the harbor rather than the bridge. You'll get there faster.

Stunning expanse of sand fronting the town of Lagos. Space a plenty. Best when tide is in. Better swimming and not as far to walk then paddle. Beautiful for sunrise or sunset walk or run.

A nice beach for a walk, very large and long. Sunbathing can be annoying because it is very windy. The sand is gold and wonderful, but after a few minutes is everywhere - in the ears, eyes, hair, mouth. Beautiful view, not much people. I prefer Dona Ana beach.

Absolutely beautiful beach, clean, well kept, plenty of lifeguards, numerous beach bars and restaurants along the way. Approx 8 km long, we walked often to Lagos and back along this beach. Ran out of time or we would have tackled the walk to Alvor - next time :)

A long sandy beach that seems to be cleaned most days, with lifeguards present. There are several beach cafes serving excellent food. The usual sunbed and parasol sellers are in evidence as are the massage tents.

Meia Praia is a seemingly endless beach in Lagos: Kilometers of beach so you can easily find a more private spot if you don't mind walking a bit. The sand fine and yellow. The sea is surprisingly cold, even in August. Some would call it refreshing, others freezing. Can recommend.

This is one of the longest beach I have ever seen. It has lovely sand, clear waters and because it's so long, it's not crowded. The only problem is the wind, as you feel like in a sand storm if the wind is too strong. Otherwise it's a lovely place to spend the day and enjoy the sun.
