Absolutely beautiful beach, clean, well kept, plenty of lifeguards, numerous beach bars and restaurants along the way. Approx 8 km long, we walked often to Lagos and back along this beach. Ran out of time or we would have tackled the walk to Alvor - next time :)

A long sandy beach that seems to be cleaned most days, with lifeguards present. There are several beach cafes serving excellent food. The usual sunbed and parasol sellers are in evidence as are the massage tents.

Meia Praia is a seemingly endless beach in Lagos: Kilometers of beach so you can easily find a more private spot if you don't mind walking a bit. The sand fine and yellow. The sea is surprisingly cold, even in August. Some would call it refreshing, others freezing. Can recommend.

This is one of the longest beach I have ever seen. It has lovely sand, clear waters and because it's so long, it's not crowded. The only problem is the wind, as you feel like in a sand storm if the wind is too strong. Otherwise it's a lovely place to spend the day and enjoy the sun.

Meia Praia is about 4 Kim's long and varies from the town end being quite busy with rides etc to the other end which is practically deserted. Take your pick. The whole beach is spotless golden sand with several quality beach bars.

Lovely beach, very long so there is enough space for everyone. Quite a few beach clubs around if you require drinks or food. Lots of activities and water sports.

We spent almost everyday at this beach. We rented sun loungers in front of Linda's beach bar. 10 euros for 2 loungers and a shade for the day. Water is quite clear and shallow but very cold. Lots of water sports options available and a number of beach restaurants
