This beach has everything. It's long and wide, has chairs and umbrellas available for hire and has multiple restaurants for lunch or sun downers!! A great base beach if you are staying in Lagos.

Despite very poor January weather we had a fabulous long walk on the immaculate beach all the way to the oyster beds at the lagoon near the breakwater at the far end of this wonderful beach. There were even a few snack bars open for lunch. Enjoy an off season walk here, it is truly excellent.

Wonderful long beach. Beach cafes good. Children welcome. Usually go to Linda's in summer season.. Excellent beach for young children, slightly deep at high tide. Walk from car park to beach short.

We enjoyed the long walk on the white sanded beach. Its ideal for a run or a romantic walk. Its a good 4 km long. There are many delicious beach restaurants with fantastic views and very fresh food.

How do you rate a beach ,its length its breadth ,its volume of sand I really don't know but all I can say is I really enjoyed walking in the water where the tide meets the sand with the odd stop along the way at one of the beach bars for a beer . It was out of season so... More

About 4kms of golden sand with Alvor to the eat and Lagos to the west, this is a superb beach for all types. As the tide goes out it usually leaves gullies or pools for small children to play in, and at low tide the the sand is flat and hard, ideal for beach games, jogging etc. There are some... More

This beach has stunning views to Alvor and Portimao across the bay. The beach stretches for miles and miles and is close to all amenities with good local bars/restaurants. Would highly recommend this beach. It is also very close to the Marina and of course to Lagos Town.

Wide open beach with plenty of space not thronged with people. Very nice bathing with facilities nearby. If walking there 'tis quite a long way around the Marina

This is the perfect beach to walk your dogs, it's long, clean, unspoilt with some great beach bars along the way. Most beaches don't allow dogs so thanks to whoever allows them too on Meia Praia and to all the dog owners who clear up after their pets.
