This beach is beautiful. Soft sand, clear water and good surfing waves make this beach near perfect. Accessible from the marina in Lagos, right the way to the railway station at Meia Praia, it's 2 miles of heaven. Unspoilt in the main by people, its the ultimate beach walk.

This beach is fantastic. There are lots of bars and restaurants with toilet facilities. There are sun beds and umbrellas for hire should you require shade. This beach is never uncomfortably busy. There is also a little ferry boat that takes you across to the town for 1 euro.

Is a great beach for a walk. It must be around 4 km long, it took me 2 and half hours to walk all the length and return. Avoid when I'd windy.

Best thing about the beach aside from the wonderful view was being able to purchase beach chairs and be in the shade if you chose to be. The cost was 10 euros which I thought was fair. There was also a beach bar close by in case you got hungry or thirsty. It did require a major walk if walking... More

This is a great beach only a short distance from Lagos. Clean and plenty of Sun beds. Good snack bar although quite expensive it is lovely food. Also a nice setting. I recommend visiting this beach.

Picturesque views! However, we couldn't enjoy the beauty of this beach as much as we would have liked to - we were there only for a couple of days and we had reserved this beach for our last day. Unfortunately, the wind speed was so high that day with sand blowing all over. The other beaches are still doable on... More

Plenty of bars, plenty of sunbeds/shades/watersports. A little tricky to get to. You can walk there over the Marina bridge. It's also possible to get a little ferry boat across to the beach and I'd recommend you do this. It only costs about 1.20 return and it saves 30 minutes of walking in the heat.

This is a beautiful long sandy beach with restaurants and cafes up by the sand dunes. It is clean and has white sand. We were here in May so hardly any people but the beach is so big it doesn't seem like it would ever be crowded. Easy to walk into the water and get wet and swim around.

A long curving hard sand beach with about 6 beach bar/restaurants all of which are very good. The beach is about 4 - 5 kms long and when the tide is below the high level there is lovely hard sand to facilitate a fabulous walk with a pit stop at one of the beach bars. Some days the sea is... More
