This beach is stunning, we managed to get a parking space, a top tip go early in the morning. There are steps down to the beach around about 100, but well worth the effort. If you walk through a cave you like us can find a more secluded section of the beach. One of the best.

A truly stunning beach, with interesting rock formations. The beach is large and thankfully so is the car park at the top, room for everyone, even in August.

You have your choice of beaches. Very crowded that you can walk to (steep climb) and some you can only reach by boat. There are many beautiful beaches along the coast but I think those in the Praia da Marinha area are the most beautiful with clear blue water. Well worth the drive. The climb is very steep so if... It was crowded when we visited, but we managed to find a good spot to place the parasol. When I went for a long swim to see a different view of the rocks, I realised we should have carried on walking to the far end, where it was much less crowded, plus the sea was a bit warmer. It was... More

This is probably one of the best beaches in the Algarve. It is not suitable for people with walking disabilities as there are steps down from the cliff to the beach. There are several other beaches between Carvoeiro and Americhao de Pera that are also well worth a vi. Just try to stay as close to the ocean (in other... More

Wonderfull cliffs surrounding the places. Lot of stairs to go down to the beach...but that's the price to pay to see this wonder. Superb stroll on the beach, all very nice, wonderful... But the water is soooooo cold :-(

Went here on the third day we are in alrgave. I have to say it worth bait of a drive out from Albufeira where we staying. But its quite easy to locate and theres few other nice beaches nearby, so if you drive down in the morning you could check out other beaches. I personally think this is one of... More

One of the most beautiful beaches I've have ever been. The contrast of the blue sea and the yellow orange rocks and falesias are just incredible. Can't miss this place if you are around Algarve. And the view from above is breathtaking. Reminds Phi.

So, it was a shiny sunny day when my wife decided to go to one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Upon arrival, the view is amazing, providing an excellent spot for memorable pictures. Going down the stairs, the only worry is the return. The beach itself is, I repeat, beautiful. The water is clear, the seagulls are nice... More
