We walked the stretch of the coast that takes in Marinha and its neighbouring beaches. It is a stunning part of the Algarve coast with many small steep sided coves, crystal clear waters, impressive tides and rock formations. Entrance to most of the beaches here is steep steps or paths so be aware. Parking in winter is easy but in... More

We walked along this section of coast path on the 29th January and all I can say is what fabulous scenery!! The rock formations are breath-taking and are similar to those on the great ocean road in Australia! The walking itself is moderate - sections along the coastal path are rather slippy and hilly but other sections are easy going... More

Well worth a visit. Clear water with very clean golden sand. One of the best beaches in the area. Will be back

This was a perfect beach with an amazing view! Must see if you are in the algarve.. You need to walk a lot of steps before you arrive on the beach.

If you want to see some fantastic views in every direction, this is the place to come. Standing on the cliff edges the landscape is truly breathtaking I had a walk part way down to the beach but could see that it was going to be a hike back up again and was with my less able father who would... Lovely cliff top walk with views over the sea, rock formations and beaches with steps down to the coves. Secured along the edge for safety.

Took our 12 and 3 year old on a road trip along the algarve coast. This was by far the most impressive beach and rock formation we found. Well worth a walk around the top edge and trip down the steps to the water.

This is clearly a lovely spot to visit if you're a beach goer. however, access, like so many coves in the Algarve, is very restrictive. Imagine a road going down to the beach and up the other side with cars parked along both paths, and practically single file - at 10 in the morning ! Be prepared for a pleasant... More

WOW! This was a fantastic experience and breathtaking views from above. We visited in November so we could actually find parking and see the beach. I could not imagine what it would be like packed in the summer.
