beautiful beach but no cover, so very exposed to strong sun! Excellent cliff top walks around the headland but take proper shoes.

The walk from Praia da Marinah to Senhora da Rocha is very interesting taking roughly one and a half hours. The rock formations are gorgeous as are the limestone pits which have been fenced off for safety. There are a few information boards en route, we didn't walk round to the monastery but could see it across the gorge. The... More

Great secluded, sheltered beach with a small bar. Must have a car to get to it but well worth the visit. A lovely walk over the cliffs at the top also for some great photo opportunities.

Lovely peacefull beach, amazing cliffs. Beach cafe available although not open in April. Good walk down to beach but pathway well maintained and zig-zagges so not too tiring, well worth the walk down.

Amazing beach with breathtaking views. Definitely worth going to the other side of the beach (under the rock arch). Careful of the currents when swimming - great for paddling with a canoe!

We have just returned from a visit to the area. We visited the beach in the afternoon and had it to ourselves. Cafe was closed but not a problem. The beach and landforms are stunning. It's well worth exploring the paths nearby - wild freesias smelled lovely. The walk (hike really) back towards Carvoeiro takes a few hours but is... More
