Worth a Visit

Took a walk down to Algar Seco and found that it had been updated since my last visit a couple of years ago. Definately a nice place to have a beer in a picturesque location.

Wakled along boardwalk to Algar Seco very pretty views all the way along. Café at end for refreshments. Interesting to see the results of erosion.

The relatively new Boardwalk at Algar Seco makes the cliff walk easy and the views are lovely. Return to the little cafe/restauraunt for a well earned drink or ice cream. We didn't eat here but plan to return to try it. Barbecued fish looked lovely.

My review title says it all, so take a stroll and get your exercise in while on holiday. There are steps up and down to enter and exit so it's not mobility vehicle friendly. It's lovely.

Algar Seco is and always has been the best natural attraction that CVO has to offer, and yet few tourists seem to bother finding it. Presumably the local council has stumped up to fund this impressive walkway, and hopefully this will open this very worthwhile attraction to more people.

If you get the chance you have to visit here. Beautiful location, amazing view, brilliant caves and a lovely cafe. My boys loved exploring here if you walk along the Broadway you get to another area to walk down which is just as beautiful.

Went as a family with two young children. All enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the walks both on the boardwalk and the more exerting exploration of the caves and rocks below. Loved it so much we went twice during our week's holiday!

Not listed in many tourist books we found this to be one of the most interesting spots along the coast. On the east side of town follow the signs to Algar Seco. The paths go through the cliffs and you can get some wonderful pictures. Stairs have been carved into the rocks and lead you down to lower sections close... More
