Nice tower as a landmark ok. Opening hours not always clear. Visit best during walk around centre. Good to do in morning hours.

Most interesting was the Moorish ruins dig just outside the building. Was not open when we were there . Really not much to look at . While there we heard children's choir in one section of the building.

A nice landmark in Albufeira's old town. It's opposite the archaeological museum. The bell sounds every now and then during the day. At night the metal dome is nicely illuminated.

Worth the climb up the steep cliff side road as there are several churches & a museum to see nearby too. We looked in one door & found ourselves in a music conservatory - wish we could have visited more of the inside .There are some interesting Moorish ruins in the dig just outside the Clock Tower . Lovely view... More

Myself and my family sat down on the lovely shaded area beside the sea and across the road from this landmark. The clock tower was very nice but it looks dull and nothing exciting especially on a busy street! There's also another building that use to be a hospital and its such ashame to leave it abandoned! They should really... More

Located in the old city, the clock tower has no real special attractions located in it or about it. When coming up from the beach you can see the tower and building from the upper ledge of the cliff. Ok for a walk by while navigating the winding streets but nothing special

Albufeira is a lovely seaside resort. The old town is truly picturesque and worth seeing. This tower stands on top of a hill in the old section. It is interesting to notice that the ironwork on top of the tower is a reminder of those which can be found in Provence, in southern France. The area around is really nice... More

View amazing but nothing else. Can have the same view from many other places in Lisbon, remember to use your bus ticket here for entrance and do not pay additionally.

Standing proud above the old town of Albufeira is the clock tower (Torre do Relógio) a major landmark in Albufeira which was part of one of the original castle towers destroyed in the 1755 earthquake along with most of the town. The Islamic Albufeira (Al-Buhera originally) was a walled town with a castle on a rocky crag, this is near... More
