Great access from our hotel with lovely cliff top walks that allow you to see right along the coast. The beach is spotlessly clean.

This is a very special beach. You can walk to Vilamoura and on and on until you get to Spain. Spotless breathtaking sands and coastline. Plenty of bars with sensible prices.

We were staying at the Riu Palace hotel in Olhos d'Agua and on 4 days we walked all the way along the beach to Villamoura which is around 6k in distance. The walk on the beach is fantastic which is clean and very picturesque . On some days we walked back after having lunch around the Villamoura Marina but the... More

very clean. there is a cafe at the top of the steps. is quite windswept but stunningly beautiful. be very careful of the tides on all algarve beaches, as they come in very quick, and are very fierce. I would say only a paddling beach, as you need to be a VERY strong swimmer to swim here.

You can have a wonderful walk along the falasia but dont forget a hat as there is no shade and you will get burnt.

Stretching from Olhos d'Água straight through to Vilamoura.... on the one side; beautiful blue Mediterranean ocean.... on the other; gorgeous photogenic cliffs topped with pine trees.... and in the middle; kilometres of undisturbed sandy paradise. Falésia is one of the most iconic beaches in the Algarve, and I feel it's one of the most beautiful in Portugal.... if not Europe.

How do you rate a beach? My husband and I were staying in a small apartment in Olhos de Agua in 1997 and one morning after a leisurely breakfast and coffee decided to get a little exercise. So we set off along the beautiful Falasia beach and walked to Vilamoura, paddling, swimming and watching the shrimp fishers plying their wooden... More

Miles and miles of hard sand with a backdrop of red to grey cliffs. Great for children as the sand is perfect for castle building and there are lots of shells.A great place to walk or relax whatever the weather. Have been in the spring, summer and autumn. There are a couple of restaurants and steps to get to the top... More

Lovely sand beach, lovely views. Great in summer to lie down and rest and enjoy the sun. Great place to spend some time alone as well as with friends.

Walked alway the way down the beach it was fantastic , only thing toilets were few. Take water because there's not a lot of bars along the beach.
