Lovely sand beach, lovely views. Great in summer to lie down and rest and enjoy the sun. Great place to spend some time alone as well as with friends.
Beach was very clean and there were lifeguards who manned it, plenty sunbeds to rent and make sure you have sun block with you unless you want heat rash! You can collect loads of sea shells and if you want some fun bring a fishing net with you and you can catch some small little fishes like i did :-)
Stumbled across on our last day. Very clean beautiful setting. Will be returning for a week of lunches in july as have just booked the crowne plaza which is very close. I had a lovely caesar salad but was watching everything that came out of the kitchen and was very impressed - all food was beautifully presented.
Long clean beach with plenty of space for sunbathing. The waves can be strong so be careful with young children.
Quiet, long and interesting cliff backdrop. Perfect for our daily dog walks. Interesting walk down to the beach from where we parked, along a track. On other days we walked along the beach from Olhos de Agua, when the tide allowed. Loved the colours.
Great beach with great beach bars and not packed with tourists It's where the locals seem to go when they use the beach
Beautiful long beach with Atlantic breakers crashing in. Ideal for sun worshippers who can choose a quiet spot, families who enjoy beach games and swimming and it is also easy to walk along and enjoy the sun, sea and people watching. Beaches don't come much better than this one!
the beach is very nice except when there is wind, a long sandy walk, but the stairs are difficult to climb, if you go far you can be alone or else in summer it will be crowdy..no bars nor other facilities, parking is a serious problema! Very nice view from above..
There are two Falesia Beaches, one is further to the East; both are beautiful, long and with fine sand. If you are an afternoon beach-goer, you'll be getting sun just about head-on as it drops to the west. I think Albufeira has just about the prettiest stretch of beaches in the world; over 30 miles in all. If you're planning... More
