Just 3 people in the group, which was excellent and the tour was lead by Jacques, incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the visit to our interests. Will definitely come back for a further visit with Jacques in the near future. He had met many of the veterans before they passed away which adds something special to the tour.

We took the short tour with the very knowledgeable Jacques. Just the morning but long enough to get a sense of the horrors and futility or WW1, engagingly described by our guide Jacques who speaks perfect English. Well worth doing.

As with most people, I went on this tour to learn something and to show respect for what others had to endure. I got all of that and more from the superb tour guide Jacques, he taught me more about the war than I could have wished for and his genuine empathy and respect for what he showed us will... More

The sheer scale of the number of graves brings home how much many countries gave in WW1 to fight for freedom and for their families and country. Flanders fields are full of graveyards dedicated to those who died from across the world. All gravesite are kept pristine and well tended, and easy to walk round.

Our party of 6 arranged a holiday in Ghent recently to celebrate our brother in law's 60th birthday. During our trip we really wanted to visit the battlefields of Flanders but were pretty disappointed when it didn't appear to be possible, as all the dates seemed to be already full. We sought the assistance of a Receptionist at our hotel... More

We embarked upon the Grand Tour of the North Salient with Jacques as our personal guide on Monday 25th January 2016. There are a number of tours and guides available in the area but by luck we had Jacques at the helm. We had a splendid 4 hour private tour of the Salient. Jacques was incredibly knowledgeable having given tours... More

We had the privilige of being guided by Jacques on 16 January. There is almost nothing he does not know. He speaks in a very engaging manner, and is the most passionate guide we ever experienced. We never joined a better tour than this one and would like to thank Jacques once more. Good luck and hope to see you... More

Our guide (Jacques) was engaging, knowledgable and eager to ensure that the extensive information he provided was personalised to the group where possible. His information and humour was perfectly pitched in relation to the group, and each question was enthusiastically answered. Yes, you can take the self guided option around the area - the various memorials and cemeteries are all... More

Our tour of the north Salient was an eye opener and really bought home the tragedy of war and the horrendous conditions the young men of both armies suffered. Our tour guide Jacques was knowledgable, informative, and very interesting to listen to. He even kept our ten year old riveted. Highly recommend this to others. A not to be missed... More

Our tour guide (Genevra) was not only knowledgeable of the facts (not stumped by any of my history-buff husband's questions) but sensitive to the incredible sacrifices of the soldiers and medics and their families. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the tour.
