Brings home what happened between 1914 and 17 with lots of audiovisuals and hands on. A lot to see so could be tiring for kids. We added the trip up the bell tower which gave a welcome break. Cafe was closed, good shop, very good building, loos. Well worth a visit and right in the main square so easy to... More

Meeting place was easy to find and our tour guide was very well informed. The transport was comfortable. We liked everything about this tour including the strawberries our tour guide purchased at a local farm and shared with us. The tour comprised of a maximum of 8 people so easy to get around and efficient. Visited main sites in the... More

A great tour with just 8 people spending 5 days visiting all the main sites of the First World War battlefields in France and Belgium. Led by a very knowledgeable historian, a memorable experience. Recommend it to anyone interested in that pat of history.

My friend was visiting myself from Scotland for the weekend and had asked if we could go on a tour of the battlefields of Ypres. Our guide for the tour (cannot remember his name) was excellent! I had phoned rather at last minute to book this tour and my booking request was pleasantly dealt with, we had requested to be... More

Cannot recommend Olivier highly enough our tour was constructed around a relatives locations up to his being KIA on 21/03/1918. Visited his grave and with the aid of his iPad trench position illustrations one got a vivid picture of the horror of the battlefields in Picardy and the Somme PS Olivier picked us up from The Grand Hotel in Saint... Thank you Genevre for a very interesting afternoon. Clearly you know your subject inside out and back to front. You really brought to life the scale and significance of the battles of Messines Ridge and Ypres. I don't have a military background but your presentation was pitched at the right level for me. I will definitely recommend this tour to... More

We provided Genevra with some very basic information about 3 relatives. The extensive research she undertook, together with Jacques' expert guiding, combined to provide us with an unforgettable day. We learned so much, and 3 vague figures from our family history became real people as the hours passed. The full day we spent in the Somme area of France, and... More

Just back from a very memorable family trip to Ypres to visit our great grandfather's grave in Rue Petillon Military Cemetary. Jacques was our guide and his passion and knowledge was inspirational. We walked the very ground our great grandfather fought on 100 years earlier which was incredibly moving. On a trivial note make sure you have water and a... More

Not just for the history buffs but for a novice as well. We left from Brussels, was a long day but well worth it.
