We were a group of four visiting in late November. Mieke was a GREAT guide for our trip to the country side - she was flexible with us based on our travel schedule and showed us a great ride to nearby city Damme. Although the weather was a bit cold, we were all happy with the easy ride and the... More

This bike tour was great! Our guide Mieke, gave us some high quality bikes, all of which had names from the simpsons and then she took us on a lovely bike ride, through the streets of Bruges and then on into the countryside along a lovely canal. Occasionally we stopped and she provided us with some interesting facts, stories and... More

Got the idea from Rick Steves which also entitled us to a 2 euro discount! It was a great way to see the city with a good commentary from our guide. Great canalside patj to Damme lined with Canadian Poplars. Good break at Damme for a quick drink. Differant path back through verdant fields and WW2 Bunker sites. Superb feel... More

Great way to spend 4 hours in Bruges. The bikes were well maintained with fat shock absorbing tires and shock absorbing seats to make the scenic cobble stone ride easy. Mieke was very informative and personable. We saw the serene part of Damme that we never would have visited otherwise. The trip to Damme was very scenic with the poplar... More

Although the weather wasn’t great it was a lovely cycle ride. If we hadn’t have seen the flyer in the reception of the campsite we wouldn’t have known the most scenic route to get out Brugge. Mieke gave us options all the way around and explained the history of Brugge, Damme and their canals. She was very friendly and even... More

Mieke does a nice job explaining the area of the tour. You learn a bit of history while taking in the picturesque sights. Even if you aren't up for taking a tour, it is worth it to rent a bike and head to Damme to see the area. Then again, if you don't do the tour you won't get to... More

great tour and lovely scenery around Brugge. was a easy ride and the bikes were good quality, most of the tour was flat so great for any level of cyclist. Mieke was our very friendly tour guide and made the tour relaxed, fun and interesting. Would definitely recommend this tour. (Although we were caught out, when we thought that the... More

I (21) went on this trip with my two parents (in their fifties) and younger sister (16) and we all enjoyed in thoroughly. It was a nice sunny day and Bruges just looked so pretty: the windmills, the crop fields, the cows and sheep, the water, the cobbled streets. The cafe we ate at in the village of Damme had... More

Lovely bike ride with our guide Mieke who was entertaining and gave us a great insight into the history of the area and how the region has changed over the centuries. The ride was on level ground and around 10 miles in distance with plenty of breaks to view the lovely countryside.

We booked the day before over the phone. Mieke asked me to ring in the morning due to weather forecast. It rained overnight but we were still keen and were so glad the tour was still on. We were promptly met at the designated site. After a short walk we were given our bikes. The bikes were very good quality... More
