Very organised and friendly. The English spoken tour was hilarious with a female guide with a wicked sense of humour and a fantastic local and historical knowledge of the factory and beer in general. Be warned - there are 222 steps on the tour up and down some very steep steps......be brave, it is worth it.

Toured the brewery in October 2014. Our group was fairly large but the tour guide was informative and knew her facts about the beer making process. It was interesting to hear the history behind the brewery. The tour goes up and down very, very steep and narrow stairs. It concludes with a roof top view of Bruges and a beer... More

We had already visited several Belgian breweries, so came close to skipping the guided tour of de Halve Maan Brewery in Bruge. That would have been a mistake, because the tour (in English) of Halve Maan was unique in the view it gave of old style Belgian brewery operations, equipment, and marketing. (cost: 7.50 euro, includes beer) The tour involved... More

great place to go check out a Belgian brewery. The guided tour in English was really clear and funny and it made the whole experience more interesting. At the end of the tour you get a free home made beer which is really nice :)

One of the best activities we took part in on our trip to Brugge was a tour of the brewery. It was €7.50 each, but includes a beer at the end (normally at least €4.00 for a small house beer) so the tour actually is only €3.50!! Tours are given in three languages- Dutch, French & English. We tagged along... More

We attended the brewery tour as a 'grande finale' to our trip to Bruges, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The tour was well organised and very slick, and the tour guide was engaging and interesting and clearly know what he was talking about. The smell of the hops was wonderful and it was great to see modern production methods side... More

Have to agree with one of the previous reviewers, it was all a bit chaotic to start with, being herded into the shop area and then taken out in lingual groups to the tour entrance with narrow steps and waiting area. Once the tour started (15 mins. after our allotted time) the guide, Roland, was very informative - I think!... More

The tour was great and the lady was very funny and made us feel comfortable, she showed us the new built facility for making beers and how the machines work. The tour is done in 3 languages at the same time dutch, french and english and when it ends you get a free beer. Just remember to make reservation for the tour... More

Don't eat here. The food was expensive for what you got and not that impressive. However, do drink here. The restaurant/cafe is great with a river view in the restaurant and a nice courtyard. The beer is excellent!

This attraction sums up the old saying "they couldn't organise a p*ss-up in a brewery" to a tee! It's an hourly schedule, so we got our tickets, and returned for our 3pm tour. We hung around like penned sheep for quite a while, as they split us up into lingual groups, with the English (us) going last (no change there... More
