Choco-story reminded me of the kind of school trip kids get dragged to under the premise of being fun and interesting but is actually a complete bore. I am a massive chocoholic and have been to the Cadbury’s factory so I know how it can be done better! The so-called ”museum” was split on 3 levels so it’s not ideal... more

Mmmm museum...ok! but a very little one... All is showed in a non interesting way. Is like an exibition from a school. If u like old things, story, to read things that u could find everywhere ok, go... I always knew that it was not a choc factory, so i had no big spectations... Not recommended for children! If adults... more

My wife and I thought the museum was a little boring as the content on history of chocolate - and there is a lot - is presented in a story format. So lots and lots of reading is required. It wasn't until you got further along and that you saw some displays on antiques did it get interesting for us.... more

Slightly different from your average visit with a demonstration of chocolate making etc. Link it with the chip museum to save money! more

We went to this museum because we visited attractions on our "must do list" so quickly and still had more time. The chocolate demonstration was okay, but not great although they give you free samples at the end. I did enjoy learning about the history of chocolate which they made surprisingly interesting in their museum displays. They also have examples... more

This place does what it says on the packet - it is a museum about chocolate with a demonstration of chocolate making thrown in. It is true that the chocolate making could be difficult to see if you are at the back of the room, but there is a large TV monitor showing it as well and we had no... more

I found this very interesting personally. Upon paying you are allowed a chocolate which was very tasty and then proceed around the building. The chocolate story is over different floors and as people have stated there are lots of story boards to read. They are in different languages and they explain where chocolate comes from in an interesting way. There... more

We went to Bruges to see the chocolate museum, and it ended up being our least favourite activity of the trip. (We didn't know Bruges was so fabulous, so we are going back next month). We went in May, and it was quite warm, with no air conditioning, so we were hurrying through the displays as were quite uncomfortable. My... more

As previous reviewers have stated, this is probably not one for children. The exhibition is set out in story board format which can cause queues at busy times as you always seem to be waiting for the person in front to finish! There is a demonstration at the end, but when we visited, it was very crowded and we couldn't... more

Agree with a previous review that this is not really geared for children. While my teen found the museum quite interesting, it was primarily because he had studied some Central and South American history. I was surprised at the number of pre-columbian artifacts on display and could have spent much more time in the museum were it not for my... more
