A brief walk into the city and clean and accessible. The only thing that surprised us was that it was very poorly served by taxis and we had to wait 20 mins for one to turn up at the rank. There were phone numbers on display but people who phoned them seemed to wait as long as we did. Quite... More

Busy railways station thronging with both locals and tourists. Half hourly trains to Brussels on the hour and half hour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Their English was excellent and their attitude helpful and efficient. Signage was clear. If you are getting a train there is nowhere better in Brugges.

Regular trains (every 30mins) from Brussels take an hour to get to Brugge. At the weekend, when fares are lower, we paid 30 euros for two return tickets. The station is clean although I did have to pay 50 cents to go to the toilet. By way of comparison, it is 30pence (around 38 cents) at Victoria in London, so... More

The railway station is very clean and very easy to get yourself around. We came in on the Eurostar but we had no problems. There are places to eat and taxis right outside.

Regular trains take you to Brugge central. Trains were on time & very clean & airy. Seemed to be plenty if toilets about & very helpful information desk. Good english spoken, which was a help. About 10/12 minutes walk from station into the centre market area to visit the many cafes, shops etc. Keep your wits about you as there... More

Roomy station, escalators and lifts, but easy to miss important info if you don't look all around. To find the Tourist Information Office took us 15 minutes, when we got there it was 5pm and closed.Staff member I spoke with gave the impression he was superior and I was an idiot because I needed help. Had to pay .50 to... More

Good traffic control around the station allowing you to safely cross over and walk to heart of Brugge. Roller bags can make it, but easier with all of the cobbled streets if you can back pack it in.

Everything many UK railway stations are not! Clean, modern and effective with welcoming bars and shops. If you must spend time on a railway station this is as good as they get for a relatively small town or city.
