We wandered around this lake as it was on the 'things to do' for Brugge. It may be more exciting in the summer months, but on a drizzy day in January, with really was just a rectangle of water with a closed cafe. It was very peaceful, but as you get to the southern edge you begin to see the... More

Naturally it's not as pretty this time of year but it's worth seeing if you fancy going for a walk. I would imagine in the spring/summer it would be very pretty. Lots of swans and ducks to see.

Was a little disappointed. Expected it to be a beautiful lake, but wasn't up to much really. If you to walk in greenery rather than cobbles for a bit ok, but otherwise don't bother

This artificial Lake spot in the middle of the city is about a 8 minute walk away from the train station. Surrounding it is a nice little Park with plenty of walkable trails. An enclosure in the park houses swans and other birds! You'll mostly see it, it being on the way to the city center

Couples have been known to propose here as it is so enchanting. You can do a circular walk taking in the city's sights and waterways.

This was a pretty area to take a stroll in, but not much fun on a cold day. Take a walk through the trails when the weather is nice and make sure to look for the swans! When the weather is cold or rainy, skip this completely. There are too many other things to see and do in Bruges.

This is a very picturesque part of Bruges which you really must see. A lovely place to walk, cycle or even take a boat tour. It really is a stunning part of Bruges
