Beautiful

Nice atmosphere. Perfect for pictures even during winter. Very quiet and serene. (at least when I was there)

I was expecting this to be huge and is really 'bigged up' in all the guide books. It is nice but not spectacular, I think the one near my house at home is nicer. Lots of swans to admire and pretty little houses nearby. You could do it on your way to or from the station or walking around Bruges... More

Nice place to walk around if you are in the area but possibly not worth going out of your way to see. May well be nicer in the summer but nothing special in February. Is very near to de halve maan brewery so if you are visiting there, which you should, then it is nice to stroll around while in... More

This is a lovely area of Brugge in the Summer it must look even more spectacular. The swans definitely love it. Good restaurants in this area.

A great place for a walk, especially in sunny cold weather as we had. The place is so clean and well laid out we were very impressed. The bar man in our hotel did tell us not to go there at night as there is a different type of people that go there....say no more! You can pick up a... More

Walked out to Minnewater and then, well, walked back. Very underwhelmed. Perhaps it was because it was a cold afternoon in February? Not really worth the bother.

A 15 minute walk from the central Squares (but also very close to the tourist coach drop-off point and a major car-parking area), it's worth taking some time here if you like some peace and tranquillity because it's quite beautiful and the surroundings are pleasant. There are lots of wildfowl including many swans and it's near the Beguinage and plenty... More

Just fantastically beautiful! Tranquil still water with elegant swans moving silently on, and the whole area small but full of medieval atmosphere! I returned for the second time in one month and would like still to go back one day!
