Small lake next to a park with a lot of picnickers. Lots of swans and ducks in the water and on the shore.

Beautiful place to visit. Very peaceful and tranquil, with some lovely views. Very easy to walk to and if you are interested in the history of an area, you will not want to miss this place

Perfect place for a quiet stroll on a Sunday morning. The hordes of tourists are still asleep and it's a good way to start the morning and appreciate the beauty of Bruges.

We walked into Bruges along the lakeside from the train station although many people took the main roads in. They had obviously not done their "homework" as it is such a pretty peaceful walk leading to several interesting places on the way into the centre.

Beautiful park and surroundings. I advise going here in the morning, so the park isn't filled with other groups yet. We went there on bike, what I can recommend btw. Rent a bike (for example next to the Concertgebouw) for a couple of hours and cycle through the park etc.

It's located opposite the Bruges train station. Just across the road heading to city, you will passing by this minnewaterpark. It has another more romantic name called ' Lover's lake. Well, it suit it's name. Walking along the path surrounding by trees, a castle look alike building beside the lake. It's just like in the fairy land !

Just a short walk from the centre of town towards the station. A pretty peaceful spot to relax and get away from the bustle of the market square.
