The park is pleasant enough, but it is certainly more of a hang out spot for groups of energetic youngsters than a place for grown ups to enjoy nature. The lovely Abbey and bridges nearby are more our speed.

This was very pretty and peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of central Bruges and we did enjoy the walk around it but it did not really meet our expectations. We did enjoy the peacefulness of it but we were expecting more.

one of the best times (I think) to visit the lake is earlyish in the morning when there's still a bit of mist hanging over the water and before too many people are around. its a lovely serene spot and from the far end of the lake, on the bridge by the tower with the right...

Quiet location by a beguinage, with a small lake and garden area. well worth a stroll to see - it's not as busy as the centre.

The gardeners and builders are working on a number of the exibits and flowerbeds in late April , but still a lovely walk for 30 minutes
