This is a fascinating building. Very ornate but in need of attention. We visited it twice, once for our Friday evening rehearsal and the again on Saturday for our concert. Full of tourists who were very appreciative of our singing. Good place to sing.

We visited this church on the Thursday afternoon; this was the first timewe saw it was open. As it is off the main square a bit, it was not full of tourist so was peaceful and powerful. Entry by donation. Gorgeous pulpit, nice art work, decorate communion rail, lots of silverware and a lovely altar piece by Suvee. Certainly worth... More

From the outside you think what and amazing place and want to take a look inside, sadly when you go inside it’s a different story and out of the 4 churches we visited this was the worst off. This church is not loved by the owners etc. There is damp everywhere and it’s decorated sparsely. Paintings are ruined and works... More

It’s worth the effort to find this church, which is on side streets to the north east of the Markt. The interior is spectacularly beautiful, and a real surprise. There is no entrance fee, but donations are welcome, of course. And there’s no restriction on photography, which isn’t the case for many similar places. I’ll let the attached photos handle... More

My daughter & I walked past this church, and didn't even think about going in as it didn't look particularly interesting from the outside as it was a very plain looking church. We decided to go in and was amazed at just how good it was, a lovely marble tiled floor, the most amazing carved pulpit/lectern. GPS co-ordinates to this... More

This church is out of the town centre and I always visit here when I go to Bruges. Wonderful so lovely.

I like the more simple but stylish look of this church. I didn't find it overdone with stained glass windows and trying to show oppulence. This chuch has more clean lines and the light from the white sides made a more airy feel than the gloomy dark stone churches I have visited. As I read other reviewers I see others... More

The black and white marble and the white columns made this church both elegant and serene. I couldn't believe that for long stretches of time I was the only person there except for someone in charge of the sound system which played classical music, not sacred. It's on the list for "Silent Bruges," the walking tour in the Bruges City... More

We came across this church by accident on our way back to the house we were staying in. It is off the main tourist track and so we were the only people inside. It was magnificent and it's white interior was very different to other local churches. Well worth a visit especially if you want a moment's quiet reflection.
