This small museum room is included as part of the Town Hall visitor ticket. The black marble chimney piece/fire surround is beautiful. The ceiling is amazing, so much wood and the carved oak panels paying homage to Emperor Charles V. are well worth taking a long look at to take in how much work was involved in the carvings. There... Not a huge amount to see, but the carved fireplace is impressive. If your time is limited, not the number 1 attraction, but worth a look. Combined ticket with the Town Hall, which has some good bits.

A small museum next to the Stadthuis, formerly the courthouse with a superb painting of the court in session from century's ago showing that little had changed, other than the people. Magnificent fireplace and worth a few minutes on the museum pass

Very short visit required but worth a visit to see the most amazing fireplace. As with most of the buildings in Bruge great architecture to admire on the outside of the building.

Give it a quick look for the fireplace - massive and impressive. This is pretty much the only interesting thing inside. The outside of the building is very elegant. It's open on Mondays (as well as the Stadhuis) when other places are closed.

Located next to the Stadhuis, it is worth a quick visit inside to view the wonderful carved fireplace. Photographs are allowed inside without a flash and the building also has a lovely exterior.

Every time I go to Bruges I make sure to see this place, especially when there is sunshine. It's so ornate with gold and it attracts the tourists. It was build in the 18th century and can be found near the Burg square.

Included with admission to the Town Hall. Worth going to see the amazing fireplace but not much else. Exhibition being arranged while we visited & the staff seemed annoyed at our presence.

We spent a day in Bruges delighted by the tast Belgian Chocolate and waffels, happy to see so many horse drawn modes of transport. Visited the famous lace shops too.
